Heat molding my boots, Sunscreen PSA, and 540s

After getting a couple blisters on my ankle I decided it was time to try heat molding my boots for a better fit.
190° in the oven for 25 minutes. Nice and crispy.
I then met up with a new friend at a skatepark called the wedge to test out the fit of the heat molding.
(Also I realize the end of summer is a weird time for a sunscreen PSA)

christos pheonix it is pretty cool to see. They also said disco was dead to be fair and I don’t see that coming back anytime soon haha.

I hope so! 540 I was technically relearning from when I was a kid. 720 would be a whole neeeeew world.

Haha thanks man! Yeah the new skates have been great up until recently. I still love them but they're giving me a blister lately. Hence the heat molding.
I definitely need new skates Yesterday I skated and got a bliater so I couldn't skate today, maybe if I change the inner sole

How did the heat molding work out?

You would think for a video with “heat molding” in the title I would talk a little bit about that haha. It worked pretty well and was less scary than I had anticipated. I can really feel the heel of my foot sitting in place now. It however didn’t alleviate the pressure where I’m getting blisters on my ankle which sucks.

Hey the Remz I purchased a size up. They were very tight at first but loosened up over time. I think they’re size 11 My carbons are a size smaller than my Remz maybe 10 or 10.5. I will check when I get home and let you know.

Overall felt like a better fit but I was hoping it would help alleviate a blister I was getting on my ankle. Unfortunately it didn’t.

The progression! I will say, tho, you've always seemed really stiff with your entry and exit. Have you looked into doing stuff to increase your flexibility, like yoga? I think that will take what you've already gotten comfortable with to the next level. Looking good, regardless, my dude!

Smoke&Roll if they are heat moldable they will be fine.
