    Convection oven is the word for which you were searching. A neoprene toe cap over the sock will give you a little toe room, just the way the pressure point shim works. I use silicone finger tip gloves which I bought at Aldi to handle the boots till they are on. Good tip on the neoprene straps. You guys are great! The Hans and Franz of inline skating.

    Hi, great vid and instructions, I currently have a pair of Powerslide Arise and was wondering if they are heat mouldable just like the ones in the video.

  • @rippedpantsaj
    @rippedpantsaj3 жыл бұрын

    Instructions: -preheat oven to 120C (~250F) -cook skates for 15 minutes -Put skates on tight as possible while sitting/standing in a speed skating position -wait for skates to cool down while on feet. CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH METAL COMING OUT OF OVEN Another thing I suggest is "prepping" your skates by loosening your laces all the way just to make it easier to slide your foot in when they come out of the oven. For first timers, it's a really forgiving process and if someone on your team or even if you own a heat gun then I would suggest just molding the hot spots on your foot before or after practice.

    I just bought the Evo Pro 2021 and I have a terrible point of pressure under my feet in the front .. in the same place where the frames are installed. I don't know what to do. Is the heat peocess can fix this problem or its because maybe the roller is small for me? I'm afraid the store will not change the boot anymore if I do the process?

I followed this process and left them in for 15 mins each boot, waited for them to cool on my feet however the boot did not become pliable as the boots in this video and while I did feel like it helped a little its still not fully the shape of my foot. Hi Jay, it should be normally. If you follow the video i guess you did all good. Maybe get help from a friend to push on the shell (using glove) during the cool down process to bring the shell closer in some part if needed. Heatmolding is sometimes not a one time try. It can be done 2 or 3 times to make it perfect... but make sure there is pressure form outside if you need to make it more tight. Pascal Briand

  • @PowerslideInlineskates

    @PowerslideInlineskates

    Hi, good question. You can't make a narrow carbon shoes become super wide. Still you need to find the best fit for your feet and then a good adjustement can be done. Sorry , i don't know if you speak about racing or other segment. For exmple , in racing if you have narrow fit a XXX 195 is best but it will not work if your feet are super wide....then we would suggest an icon shoes which is widder naturally and can adjusted correctly to super wide.... in urban etc we can have similar product range to propose this. Exemple an HC EVO can become quite wide if needed.
