Back in the 70s we used to Cruise at Brackenbridge Park, anyone with a car or truck would Cruise, but the Gentleman with his Blue Cobra and his hot looking wife stole the show, the rumble of that big block was super awesome, never heard any other car come close,

Nothing, and I do mean nothing... Has the furious passion of a 427 in every note of it's exhaust, you can feel the visceral brutality of what 485hp is all about... In 1965. In a car that weighs LESS than your Ford Focus family hatchback. Eyeball flattening acceleration? Check! Deafening roar at 6,000 RPM? Check! Adrenaline overdose? Check! The brilliance of the Shelby team to create such wonders as the GT40 MK1 & Le Mans winning MK2, the Cobra, the Daytona Coupé, the Mustangs.... No better homage to this than to keep these original masterpieces running and people enjoying driving them.

When you get out of a Ferrari you're not sore. Cobras are rough. You can drive a Ferrari to dinner with your lady in an evening gown.

We dove my 427 Cobra 800 miles on our honeymoon in 1970. I find my Cobra to be fairly comfortable except it gets hot in warm weather.

Thanks for your brilliant bit of wisdom! However, who would park a 427 Cobra and walk off and leave it unattended? BTW a Cobra is a tough man’s car that can handle a little “rough”.......you stick to the ferraris.....
