Haha I think it'd be helpful for us to train him to unlock the doors on command... not just when he feels like it :) It was an awesome trip, thanks for watching!!

See alot if flat tires on the road to Toroweap. North Rim. Street tires don't hadle sharp rocks well. Especially if they are worn.

I really like how you can still use the tailgate along with the hitch step. It also looks like there’s quite a bit of storage long the side between the camper and the bed too. I think a flatbed like a Sherptek with flip up sides would be an awesome fit for a camper like this to exponentially increase the storage. Is your suspension tuned with/ without the camper? I’m thinking I could get a custom suspension set up that I could adjust for multiple situations. Is the camper too heavy at all? It looks like most of the weight is down low.

We love having the tailgate too - it's our front porch. And we also like the idea of a flatbed setup... stay tuned for some updates related to that soon! We have the AEV suspension which attempts to match stock tuning, and we didn't do any adjustments when we added the camper and it sits great. When we're on gnarly dirt roads, we notice the top-heaviness, but we've never felt too concerned about it. On the highway you hardly notice it sitting there, at least on our truck.

We're in the process of finding out! We'll share more in a future video, but as long as you have enough power to handle it, it should definitely be possible.

Curious to see how the Scout did in any heat? Did you run into any hot weather on your trip? I'm considering a Yoho but will be going to some hot places 95 to 100+ daily temps that don't cool down much at night. I notice the Scouts don't come with very big exhaust fans in the camper. Thanks!

We have run into some intense heat on our current trip and have tried a few things to keep the Scout cool - mostly trying to maximize airflow with two additional Opolar 12v desk fans, and keeping the Scout in the shade (except when we need to get solar). It's been a balancing act and isn't a perfect science, nor is it the same as having AC. We'll plan on sharing a video in the coming weeks about keeping cool in the Scout!
