We had an incredible time :) and yeah, getting level can be a challenge sometimes.

You should post more views of each campsite, the one in the woods where you struggled to level looked awesome!

I just discovered your channel as I’m looking hard at the Scout for my ‘16 Ram 2500 Cummins. That said, I noticed in one of your clips a VERY cramped back seat. I took mine out and replaced it with a padded & carpeted plywood base and back. LOVE IT. Opened up the whole back area for a dometic fridge, couple large boxes and a doggy bed. Unless you carry people passengers often, you might consider it. 😊👍

Hey there! We actually took out the 40% side of our RAM2500 and built a storage system on that side. We actually plan on taking out the entire back seat on our RAM3500 and building some storage and a dog bed area. 👍🏼

Great trip guys. It's funny...I was gonna ask you how your Covid crud was doing. Glad to hear that you're...finally...doing better. When I got my second Pfizer vaccine I developed an intermittent cough and tightness in my chest. The hotter the weather got, the more pronounced the symptoms. Now with cooler weather I feel better. Time will tell. Happy trails, and looking forward to your next adventure.

Oh gosh, sorry to hear you're still having some issues. Hopefully they'll resolve themselves and not come back when it gets hot again. Some days I feel pretty ok, but I still have symptom flare ups pretty frequently which isn't too fun. Glad I'm able to get out and camp though!

Loved meeting you guys and chatting with you at overland mountain west in Loveland. Seriously thinking on buying the Scout Kenai if I spelled that correctly for my 2004 Silverado long bed. Keep those videos coming as I’ve subscribed. Be blessed.

It was a cool custom rig! It has been retired though and now she's in a Four Wheel Camper. Fingers crossed she doesn't get any more flats.

How is sleeping in the bed? My biggest thing is a comfortable bed. If we decide on Scout, would love to modify to make it a north south bed. Curious on your sleeping comfort? We go for about a month before we start missing home and our bed.

I think we answered this in another comment regarding length of the bed, but as far as comfort goes, the bed from the factory in the Scout Olympic was a bit hard for us. We added a 2" foam topper and never had any issues since. We both slept great in it!

I’m actually picking up my Olympic scout camper within 2 weeks , I have a half ton AT4 gmc . Wondering what suspension mods you might have done thanks

That's exciting! We upgraded the suspension to the AEV dualsport suspension.

You will be more than fine with the 1/2 ton GMC AT4.

Hello again, how do you and your wife manage the shower thing? When I tent camp; I have a foot pump shower that I use, but it can be challenging when it is cold outside.

Hey Brian, we currently don't have a shower set up but might look into adding one. We mostly shower at campgrounds, truck stops, or at a friend's place while on the road!
