He lost about as much as possible. 'why don't you gamble', huh. He gambles a lot. Probably shouldn't when things look fine. Wish if you roll low (sub 10 ) twice you got a free reroll, because it would be even more troll to end with a 0

Bloated corpses are easily snipped by ranged units...so the way to use them if your enemy has missle superiority is either inside of a walled settlement to stay to the side of the gate while one of your melee units hold the gate so that the enemy blobs then you can get alot of kills when you then send it in to detonate. Or by hiding it in a forest on open field battles until the enemy is nearly ontop of it.

@@shadeslinger7986 yeah but how often can you manage such a situation to maximise their damage like that? And the AI are smart enough to target them ASAP. I agree they are bloody delicious in early game, but in mid-late game and higher difficulty like legendary, they are basically a waste of army slot.

@@trantrungnam612 Legend actually knows what he is doing with them, because as a joke he created a full stack of bloaties and sent them against a maxed-out Elven Gate. And won. And had bloats to spare. It was fucking glorious. Since then Legend uses them whenever they are available for raising the dead because he knows how badly they can thrash the AI's favorite units (unless of course, he has a full stack of necrofex). Like with the pheonix in the vid, he uses them to bait the AI into bad conditions and then takes them out.

Thorgrim has a whole page dedicated to Legend's grudges against Dwarves, but an entry is struck out every time Legend fucks up Tyrion in a campaign.

He legit does get impossible battles on occasion. He just doesn't make videos about them. He doesn't make videos about every single battle he's sent. He sorts out the ones that are too easy or literally impossible. But this series is just as much about him testing himself as anything- so he picks out the hardest battles he thinks are at least theoretically possible. Which are frankly, way harder than I'd ever manage.

I have defended this map against High Elves so many times that I could tell from the first second it was super possible.

When you win the gamble, it says “Ranald is with you.” If you were curious- I don’t think I’ve ever seen you win one man.

I've seen him hit the same number twice... it gave him the same notification so he is probably aware. Although I also remember 1 time that he actually had way more winds, although it is only a myth now.

Never had that problem. Just blitz south towards the Awakening and play like you're Harkon for a while, the occasional force arriving at the Graveyard is just free xp

@@jakobteeter9740 The multiple entity units will have less individual entities like 90 instead of 120, while the single entity units like a hero or lord will be the same. Therefore the single entity units are more powerful and able to take more multiple entity units at once.

Legend's grudge reminds me of my own personal grudge I had in Medieval 2 against Milan. I would never play them, never have any treaties with them no matter how good they could have been for me, and I would wipe them first occasion I got

I have yet to actually playthrough a Wampire Coast campaign. I tend to lose the actual purpose of the campaign, pick bad fights and lose. Any tips? I'd like to actual complete one

Where's the fun in that? Noctilus' campaign is arguably the easiest campaign in the whole game, getting rid of one of your main enemies that early would be anticlimactic.

That's not a very good idea. Even if you take Lothern, Eltharion and the others become a complete pain. Best to consolidate power in the Southlands and then assault Ulthuan with two armies. It can't be done cleanly with one.

Basic strategy. Bring maximum force onto the enemys weakest point. If they don't have a weak point then make one. If they are a big blob use fast units to "pull" enemy units off the main blob and lead them into a trap of say hidden units that can destroy them and rehide before the main blob gets there. Rinse and repeat. Cheers for the daily crossword as it were.

That gamble loss is an art form of itself XD

Well its still in the book, so....

Worst thing with single entity stack spam is, that even single infantry unit combined with them and lost in battle cause pyrrhic or close victory. less exp.

Legend: He says its impossible Me: *fast forwards to end* Legend: and thats the Army loss penalty Me: Yeah about what I expected.

He said it's impossible. Legend: "No, it's necessary."

I don't want to criticize without knowing the full story but to be level 12 on turn 80 he can't have left Galleon's Graveyard all game, no wonder he is struggling. I'm usually in Caledor by turn 5 as Noctilus.

My mistake was sitting in my settlement and recruting Necrofex Colossues for this 80 turns beacuse I thought that it will be better if I have stronger army.

Sad that you can't confederate as vampirates. I would love to try a legendary cylostra/harkon but they are in such bad places for legendary campaigns. Nicklaus is the best vampirate because the pole dancer fishwoman have really bad starter units, when you finally start to get conquering the greenskins had whipped the dwarfs and are gunning for the border princes, which means you are the next dish.

You can with a few different mobs. To not break difficulty too much you can limit to forcing confederation when you take their last settlement with the dedicated mod.
