@@ZirdupioGamers theres a mechanic called overcast and misscast, overcasting means you put more magical oomph into a spell, the rise is you get something like a 35% chance of you taking damage as well. The AI general kept overcasting and it eventually cost him his life

I choose to believe the chaos lord had such an apocalyptic, apoplectic shit fit about how just ONE rat was giving him a hard time, he had a stroke from sheer frustration and died.

This isn't cheese. You can destroy an entire army with just magic, and he did it once with a Death or Shadow sorceress as in one Dark Elf SYDB.

@@Anand70707 This is most definitely cheese. It's not just about beating an army with magic, its about only having 1 person hiding in a tree, whilst the AI bugs out, unable to search for you due to a glitch. This is cheese.

The amount of cheese from this is what the horned rat fed upon to become a chaos god.

The parts when he gets detected should have had Yakety Saks playing in the background. What an amazingly cheese filled video.

When you think about it this kind of win isn't all that inaccurate lore wise given powerful magic users have been described as being able to level entire armies

This also works with siege battles. If your army is hidden at the start the AI will clump it's units in the town square, just bring in an eshin sorcerer or any spellcaster with stalk really, climb the wall and just start spamming damage spells in the town square.

Skaven OP. I love the new Wood Elf LL's and units, but they definitely got the short end of the stick when it comes to this DLC. Still pre-ordered the DLC and my first campaign is probs gonna be the Sisters just cuz they're the coolest out of all the LL's that are coming out.

I think they will be fine, once you get the mod that makes outposts actually useful, since that is the biggest proble for wood elves they only have like 10 settlements across the entire map.

@@cathulionetharn5139 I agree. At the very least for the heathlands, the outposts should be buffed. Mind you, wood elves aren't /meant/ to be a "paint the map"-style race. But still.

Ive noticed something similar in the eshin campaign while using a assassin doom stack with 2 esh priest's, with snik's skill the make targets unspotable and the vanish bomb ability I was able to cast multiple vortexes for free with out the ai triggering.

2/3 of marauders squad: destroyed by nasty green spell the rest of the chaos army: "nah, probably just rats, keep chilling"

idk why but just the sight of that one little rat man standing on front of a fully stacked chaos army made me laugh so hard.

I've actually pulled off 1 rat army wins before as well, but as Clan Skryre. With Ikit on a Doom Flayer, ambush the opponent and hide. What the AI does is march the full distance and then they form up at the end in a relatively tight formation. Then I send in Ikit to make the army collapse in on itself and use a doomrocket. Inflected the army loss penalty on a full 20 unit army with just the doomrocket.

Will this work with any ambush, or specifically Skaven only? (i.e. Is it most effective with Skaven, or only effective with Skaven?) And thank you for your videos! I've been enjoying them and learning a lot! Also, be well, and stay safe!
