Personally, if I was Legend, I would ignore saves like this. It's not a realistic scenario. And it's the same person sending it again. Just don't encourage them.

I think the player destroy Malus early in the Game and only brought him back later via rebellion to fuck with Legend. That's why Malus had never had any chance to level up.

Legend could add a new category to his list of videos: "Rate My Disaster Battle/Campaign." Possible rating categories include: recoverability, creativity in set-up, potential entertainment value, tediousness of recovery. That way, he could showcase some of these interesting set-ups without actually having to fight through them.

"Everyone just ignore him" I think that the Skavens have understood that an army of dragons is less dangerous than Tyrion.... which is a pretty impressive thing XD

I appreciate that someone spent the time to put this together, not because Legend may dislike it, but because it presents a unique challenge and entertaining fare for us. It feels sometimes as though Legend has passed the game by, and these little saving your disaster campaign videos offer a respite from the endless domination. It's good.

Just a heads up Legend, youtube has been partially down for the past few hours in that people can't log into their google accounts. Google/KZread is slowly restoring this functionality. It's working on mobile for me personally, but I can't log in on PC still. This might affect your views for the day since people won't get a notification that you posted a video if they're not logged in.

This video really got me thinking that Lords need to be able to do stuff on the campaign map. Why should a life wizard be able to full heal an army of dragons in battle, but can’t heal anything in campaign?

I like how his Skaven voice just comes out now like "It's a tropic thunder reference ok?"

The game lately has been assigning me "close" victories for the most one-sided victories. I'll lose 12 entities and they'll lose 2000 and it will say "close" They must have changed how much they weight ammunition in the balance of power or something.

I'm not 100% sure about that but from my own experience I have a feeling that a distinction between close/decisive victory is based on the initial balance of power before the battle. If the balance is close, then you get a close victory, even if you took minimal casualties. If the balance is way in your favour, you get a decisive victory even of you take a lot of casualties. Of course it doesn't apply to heroic/phyrric victories, which are more extreme cases. I'm not even entirely sure if it works the way I described but that's just my observation.

@@SereglothIV nah, i'm sure that i've managed to get "decisive" victories even when the BoP going in looked evenly balanced. i think the OP is correct, and that the verdict is based somewhat on your remaining _CP_ (combat potential) rather than simply losses (so if you have a missile-heavy army and use most of your ammunition, you'll likely see "close victory", even if you suffered no/few actual casualties). kind of frustrating, actually. it's good that the BoP takes full CP into account-as units that are great at shooting but poor in melee _should_ be considered less likely to influence the battle the more of their ammo they have lost, since they can only get more ammunition through certain abilities (that most factions don't have access to)-but since ammunition replenishes fully after each battle, it seems nonsensical to punish a general for winning a battle with 0 casualties _just because_ they used a lot of ammo.

@@SereglothIV yeah, just checked: tried my brets vs norsca, preview had the BoP about 55:45 in norsca's favour, and i won. lost about half a unit of spears and maybe a handful of knights, didn't bring any missile units. "decisive victory". so i don't think it has anything to do with the BoP at the start of the battle (unless ofc a lot of your combat potential comes from ammunition, and you use it up)

I *Knoooow* I'm almost a year late... sorry... It takes into account how well you did compared to the enemy's casualties, damage taken, and efficiency, like routing units rather than fighting the whole unit (although that last part has little effect). Most importantly though, the game has a prediction on what you *should* be able to do which to be honest sounds like the balance of power. But it's not the balance of power on the global map. It's the balance of power calculation on the battlefield. If you do *amazing* compared to what the game predicted, you'll get a nice result. If you do pretty much as the game predicted, the game will only look at the % of your health, models, and units lost or damaged vs the enemies if you do worse than the prediction, you start taking a heavy penalty to the end battle prediction. Difficulty also affects the bonus and penalty from comparing your result to the power prediction. How much? I don't know I've never seen numbers, Hopefully that helps, despite the chronically late reply. (The above also changes game to game a little so the ease of heroic victories might feel different game to game for you ;) )

HE are actually one of the races which can easily offset maxed out sword of khaine penalties even on legendary.

But imo karl franz is the best wielder for it because you can get high relations with all using technologies and get alliances, plus you get regeneration ability easily if you beat isabella who is really close by. add to it the advanced empire tech tree and the fact he has a flying mount, he becomes a real monster without many doensides

it took the guy some 400+ turns to get the campaign from near map completion to the disaster in the vid... 400 turns of waiting and losing battle after battle... that is some dedication

for those annoying icons: I would like them to be in the settings, maybe being able to put in the duration of the icon and maybe transparency and something like: if you clicked it once, it goes away, so you can then click the ground again...I believe for some new players they might be a help, because they show some "important" things, but an option to get them away would be great...just like the advisors

So I spend 2 hours watching elfes fighting skaven.... best time of my live

Deliberately hard save my campaigns are the ones I enjoy the most, arguably the only ones I watch through they provide a lot of funny content and seeing the ways you get around some difficulties are super interesting. That’s just me though people could hate it but I feel like it’s a strong series :)

Chaos dragons are one dragon with a head split down the middle then mutated into two heads.

Not a big fan of crafted disasters, compared to equivalent disasters, because it just seems like an attempt to annoy Legend instead of a series of human mistakes that he can comments on and corrects. Though I prefer disaster campaigns over disaster battles so at least I got some of that. Legend: "don't create a fragmented empire" Also Legend on his last stream: creates a fragmented empire

Crafted disasters are good when they aren't frequent imo. It can help people for if they ever get in a situation where they have completely fucked up etc. Although, the best way to help people like that would be being more preventative, so they don't get into those situations in the first place. But, aside from all that, it is fun to watch Legend save a situation that is more fucked up than what we normally see lol

This meme campaign was so bad Legend had to start giving life advice within the first 5 minutes lmao.

Would really love to see you continue this campaign maybe for one more video :)
