Every time you think you have seen everything Paul McCartney can do, he pulls another rabbit out of his hat. It’s been many years since I’ve heard this song and I love that I can still be amazed by this musical genius and talent. Such a gift to the world. Great choice from Rob Taylor! Thanks Harri 🌺✌️

Be still my heart. Paul's beautiful voice has held my heart for 58 years. Beautiful song with such emotion in his voice, and lyrics sweet as honey, with the choir of harmonies from heaven. I've always loved this song. Your and my favourite Harri.💕💕 Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Rob for a beautiful trip down memory lane. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

An anecdote about this is that when Paul's little son heard heard the song he was upset because he was singing Girl i Iove you so bad. So the line Boy I love you so bad was added to the song so Paul could sing Boy I love you to his son

I miss Linda McCartney so much, and this video's a gem. This is about 1983. McCartney made the bass guitar popular long before anyone else thought of playing it as a solo instrument in pop music.

Smokey Robinson did an excellent cover of this, on a McCartney tribute record. It’s excellent, and smooth. Visual interview disc with the musicians covering Paul, has Smokey tell how he was amazed this British group did a cover of his music, sung by George in ‘63. Smokey was happy to cover “So Bad” which is in his vocal range, too.

McCartney's muse, Linda, and their storybook romance is the stuff of fairy tales and legends. He wrote beautiful melodies and poignant, sad lyrics when splitting with Jane Asher, and wrote beautiful melodies and lyrics that came from deep in his soul where his love and admiration for Linda lives. A timeless talent who is still building a catalogue of work that will exist in the pantheon of the greats throughout history.

Paul is one of the grooviest, most melodic bassists ever! Goodnight tonight, silly love songs, lovely Rita, dear prudence, come together, too many people, and so many more! Yes, he is the master of melody and his partnership with Eric Stewart from 10 Cc, who was playing guitar in the video, was simply great!

Aah. 80s Paul in his 10CC era. I'd forgotten how great the bassline was in this. this song is memorable primarily for its gorgeous falsetto. I can't think of another song where he sings the whole thing in that register. Dear Friend has a high C in it too, but this one just stays up there.

A real supergroup. Ringo, Linda and Paul - and on guitar Eric Stewart of 10cc The "Press To Play" (1986, 2nd after "Pipes Of Peace" ) album is a collaboration between McCartney and Stewart (and btw with Phil Collins the violinist Nigel Kennedy) It's not his best album, but there are some fine songs on it. "Stranglehold" and "Only Love Remains" for melody afficionados

I love this song so bad! And Ringo is really gorgeous here. They all are. Responding to the ridiculous but persistent notion that Paul is a better drummer than Ringo, Ringo said that Paul, as a drummer, is the most melodic bass player in rock and roll. Very classy way to respond, and so true.

The first album of Mc Cartney which did not make it into the top 10 of the US charts 😄 You are spoiled by success if from up to Dagin 15 solo albums it does not make one among the best 10 . It shows what a great vocal range Paul has (5 octaves) and how VERSATILE his voice is. If you played this song back to back with "HELTER SKELTER" or "MONKBERRY MOON DELIGHT," most people who don't know the Beatles music or Paul's solo, would NEVER guess that these two songs are sung by the SAME man.
