Ойын-сауық
Now in 720p HD - Just a couple short clips showing Montana Rail Link's Polson Local with a pair of MRL GP9s (127, 113) taking a pair of center-beams up the branch to be switched out for a pair of loads. First clip was shot south of Charlo, MT. The returning clip is just north of Dixon, MT as the local returns to MRL's 10th Sub. The train was filmed on May 26, 2009.

That would've been my guess as to why there's two but thanks for the clarification!
Awesome! But couldn't one GP9 handle that load?
Yeah, one GP9 could pull it, the tonnage is very light. But the crew likes to have a cab facing each direction so they don't have to back up all the way back down the line to Dixon, the only area to wye the train.
the lines abandoned now
P3 :)
