10 years after the fact, this is still the most glorious pacing video I've ever seen. The locomotives, the cool morning environment, the jointed rail--perfect!

@CN413Fox - Typical consist in 2010-2011 is one MRL SD70ACe and either one MRL SD45 or SD45-2. Followed by the MRL lettered buffer boxcar and 25 white CONX lettered tank cars.

@rForsstrom What type of tankers they, do you know? I'm trying to make this train as accurate as possible. Also, what type of boxcar would be used? It will take me a long time to collect the train due to the economy, but I really like this train.

@rForsstrom Hmmmm, I think I'll model the look of just SD45's and 45-2's. Same number of cars? I was thinking 1 45-2, 2 45's, the buffer box car, and the 25 CONX tankers like you mentioned.

I plan on getting atleast one MRL SD45 from Athearn RTR in HO Scale. Number 371. I want to model this train in HO, just like my friend Dan modeled a 30+ car trash train. I love the Gas Day Local. What is the typical consist? Number of cars? Car types?

They need to get rid of some of those grade crossings - the whistle lever is the control that gets the most use!
