8:48 One little nice touch I've noticed. Charlie in the pilot tried to cover the screen when it was revealed Angel was causing trouble, but she couldn't cuz it's green screen. Vox, however, can push pictures away because he's actually part of the TV. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but just a fun little detail anyway.

Vox : please Val, don't do something impulsive that would ruin our image Also Vox : managed to get publicaly humiliated by Alastor after provoking him out of spite I'll say it, Stayed Gone is my favorite song out of the first 4 episodes, just for this amazing duet x) It's so geart seeing Vox so deeply insecure about Alastor's power that he couldn't even respect his own advice ^^

Two of my favorite songs so far. Stayed Gone had so much energy and gave us a good look at just a fraction of Alastor’s power. It Starts With Sorry is just cute and Charlie and Sir Pentious harmonized way better than I would have expected.

I ironically think that Sir Pentious might actually be the first to ascend to heaven.

Out of the four that we have so far this is my favorite episode!

Not sure if it’s just me, but Charlie’s energy and enthusiasm reminds me of Sue Heck from The Middle

If you put the audio to Japanese on the end part where alastor taunts Vox it sounds really weird but I can't spoil what It sounds like or describe it

Fun facts time, Renegades and audience! Haha. ^^ In this episode: - The title is a nod and switcharoo of the Bruce wooley/The Buggles song, "Video Killed the Radio Star" - Keekee the cat is seen to be in the same pose as Maxwell the cat - Sir Pentious! He makes his debut in the show with this episode along with his egg bois. He is voiced by, as the renegades pointed out, Alex Brightman. Known for his performance in broadway shows such as broadway Beetlejuice, he's the voice of Hazbin Hotel's version of Adam as seen in the last episode AND the voice of Robo and normal Fizzaroli from Hazbin's sibling show, Helluva Boss. More about the snek boi, he's come to battle Alastor the same way as seen in the pilot. Speaking of the pilot, Sir pentious mentions in this episode of that battle from the pilot. - With the "Trust us! trust us! Trust us!" scene, one of Vox's displays briefly shows someone long time fans are all to familiar with...Baxter. Yes, the wait is over. He's made it on the show. So glad, hehe. ;D - When Velvet calls Vox, like when Lucifier called Charlie in the previous episode. her contact photo is that of her old design. - With the scene of Vox and the reporters/paparazzi, there are advertisements behind him acting as nods to some real life things and one to Helluva boss. The popsicles one of the Vees, this is a reference to any of those popsicles in real life with the gumballs for a nose or eyes such as the Australian one, bubble O Bill/Jill to the Sonic The hedgehog and so for. the "V watch" ad is a nod to things like the Apple watch, so is "Vox assist" one which is referencing AI programs like google assist. Finally, the ad about Velvet and Valentio's "love potion". This one will have some meaning if you watched Hazbin's sibling show, Helluva Boss. To elaborate, the aforementioned show has a character called Asmodeus or "Ozzie". He's the embodiment and deadly sin of lust and in turn is known for lustful things like making adult toys and an adult restaurant with the same name as him. That being said, he had this to say to Stolas in S2E6: "Well, I can tell ya, if you're looking for a love potion, you came to the wrong fucking guy. I don't fuck with that artificial bullshit! Lust shouldn't be about force, it's an art! To be earned, and enjoyed. It's all about that journey to pleasure town. You feel me?" Velvet and Valention making said product just show how BAD they are if even the deadly sin of lust and the lust ring wouldn't stoop to such a low like that. - Speaking of Helluva Boss and especially Fizzaroli, like Mammon and his custom robo fizz, the three vees have their own custom robo fizz called "kitty" - Another nod to Helluva Boss is the Vees have the same plant that the Goetia family have. - Some characters are heard to have sounds and noise, especially those of what they are, these characters being Alastor, Val and Vox. Valentino is a MOTH demon, so he sometimes makes moth squeaks. Alastor can be heard making Wendigo sounds. As for Vox, his voice pitch shifts, there's radio wave sound effects, game show sound effects and more that references television. - In the background of another scene, there's a portrait of Vox and Valentino. However, they're looking different in which Valentino wears a fedora instead of currently a top hat and had both his antenna in the shoot instead of one AND vox has a CRT for a head instead of a flat screen television nowadays. - Mugs. Alastor had a mug that said "Oh deer" and Vox has one during the "stayed gone" musical number that said "F--- Alastor" - Speaking of "stayed gone", it has a few nods and lovely lil goodies seen in it. First, the "artist rendering" of Alastor was a doodle Vivziepop made that jokingly mocks alastor's design for the official show. In that same news cast bit, the fast scrolling text at the bottom is a bunch of insecure things Vox is saying of Al. - When Alastor joins in the song, the radio is in a booth with the words "old crap" - In the bit of the number where Vox start to really lose it and then cut off, his face switches in between his own and to the coloured bars off-the-air static screen and computer error blue screen with some of the blue screen text saying "...has stopped working due to Alastor.exe". - In the scene of the Vees plotting, as the Renegades pointed out in their reaction, Valentino is seen decorating one of his fire arms with Elmer's glue. - (this may be a me thing) The scene of the Hazbin crew talking about a new recruit showing up and Sir pentious does just that immediately after them saying so is a nod and paralleling the scene in the pilot where the hazbin crew say the same kind of dialogue and Alastor shows up at the door shortly after them saying that. - In the bit where our beloved spoods boi, Anthony "Angel Dust", is going through his voice mails sent by Valentino, what kind of voice message is dictated by the design. The nice sounding ones are depicted by a series of hearts and the abusive ones are conveyed by a series of sharp teeth and/or spikes. - In the scene where Sir pentious was being confronted for his treachery, there's a model of the rings of hell in the background. - About Alastor, Vox and technology. It's been established in the last episode and during the pilot days of Hazbin Hotel towards Alastor and the technology after his time. Vox died 1950s, but he has grown easily attached to modern day tech and can be ANYWHERE....except the hotel and that one bit in "stayed gone" with the radio. Furthermore, the hotel stayed functional when the pride ring had the citywide black out as well as Vox could only get a visual and inside access of Hazbin Hotel via one of the drones and him giving sir pentious the aforementioned "V watch" and a spy camera. If it wasn't for the dated technology in Hazbin Hotel, they would've been screwed and easy picking for the Vees to toy with. Annnnd, that's it. Feel free to add anything I missed, correct me and what have you, hehe. ^^

Ok I have two favorite lines from this episode. Bear in mind that I used a censorship word of mine. 1. Of course I do, fluff you, now shoo! 2. And here's the sugar on the cream.

I kinda like his Pilot style voice, where at times its radio frequency then changes to normal tone.

i must admit, as a theatre kid, it is JARRING seeing people have no idea who (the man, the myth, the legend himself) christian borle is. nothing against you of course - everybody knows different people from different things! - it just genuinely took me so off guard, existing in my little nerd bubble 😅

By the way Prime Videos KZread channel posted 2 songs one from episode 3 and one from episode 4, when you react to those episodes are you going to keep the released songs unedited, continue to edit them just in case, or give them their own separate reactions

With Angel Dust I think it's more that he wants something realistic. Sir Pentious was just rolling with the fun. That might get him on the right road to redemption, but from Charlie's little drug psa script it's pretty obvious she doesn't actually know how to do rehab on people. The more "okay this is obviously not gonna help me" Charlie gives him the more he's gonna withdraw from her efforts. She's gonna have to understand the crackhead if she wants to help the crackhead. Plus I think it kind of hurt him to hear her say that he wasn't interested in bettering himself. He's said multiple times that he's only here because it's cheap which is why everyone thinks he's not taking it seriously, but in the pilot he straight up says he's been clean for a while and we haven't seen him take any drugs thus far so . . . there HAS been an effort.

@kacievines7981 Oh, okay then. I know Italian, and (Euro & Latin) Spanish are two(three?) separate languages, but there are some words that are incredibly similar. Certain pitches make them seem similar too. Maybe that's because I'm an ignorant Midwestern American.
