It most certainly can be both. But they kinda got to keep those 2 things Separate, cus as episode 5 showed us they DO NOT MIX AT ALL, when they try to do both at the same time! Like they can do both but you got to lean to one side or the other. IE: you are ether being SERIOUS with some jokes, or your being Light hearted with a bit of action going on. (like what was going on in this episode).

Ozzie and Fizz are absolutely adorable together, almost as much as Moxxie and Millie. Also, I love how even Ozzie, the embodiment of lust, stresses the importance of consent. Similar to how Bee-lzebub knows the dangers of using over-indulgence as a coping mechanism.

Fizz yes he was an asshole, Asy however never was, his "public embarrassment" of stolas if you focus on what and who Asy is and what he actual said, then he was actually complimenting him. And for moxxie, well moxxie broke the rules of asy's club which was for lust but they did a love song. And he tried to get moxxie to change the song up to make it fit but he didn't. So he had every right to kick them out.

I've noticed that nobody has talked about the card Blitz's dad gave Fizz. It said "I wish you were my son", and I feel that was the direct cause of the accident. And the choker Blitz wear was from his mother. This was a wholesome episode, and the jokes weren't too much. Plus, the action between Blitz and Fizz, it shows that they know how to work with each other. And, there was the action at the end showing off Blitz's talent, which means he may have been misplaced in the circus.

Like I said on Chad's reaction, it's amazing that Blitzø's white spot is a burn scar, and not originally a part of his skin color. Also, I get the feeling that everyone resents Blitzø for misunderstandings surrounding Blitzø "abandoning them." And as a result, fears being abandoned himself. That's why the only people who are kind to him: Moxie, Millie, Stolas, and Loona, are what he cherishes most to the point of being a nuisance on them.

@@thebeavpercabethftw9604I don’t know about Verosika because she has a pretty valid reason to hate him. Im sure she’ll show up in future episodes as eye candy and great music. But not as someone blitz repairs a relationship with. But about Barb I don’t think there’s a chance there either considering last episode. She genuinely dislikes blitz and doesn’t want anything to do with him.

I find it funny how these demons of hell HAVE HEALTHIER RELATIONSHIPS AND MORALS THEN REAL LIFE HERE

A parallel I just noticed is how in the flashback blitzo accidently burned the circus and fizzaroli, and in S1 ep2 blitz also sets a circus on fire, burning robot fizzaroli.

This episode managed to incorporate a lot of characters and touch upon several plot points without feeling convoluted. Well done Viv!!

One of the best episodes of not just Season 2, but the whole show in general. We got some backstory that we desperately needed and we got to see massive character developments between Blitzø and Fizzarolli. Next episode will also include Fizzarolli, so maybe we’ll see the two of them work together again.

Season 2 is going to be 12 episodes and in March they have confirmed renewal for a 3rd season

6:19 I think it's more because they roasted Stolas for being in a relationship with an Imp in their last episode appearance, but Ozzie is also in a relationship with an imp

Man gotta say love the dynamic betweeen Fizz and Ozzie and how wholesome it is....also man the animators and designers did a bangup job with making Ozzies pad....very cool and very clean and detailed....kudos were getting our moneys worth in content

Wow i didnt realize that Blitz's life went up in literal flames because of one mistake. All he did was knock someone over because of his complicated feelings and that lead to him losing the person he was in love with and he couldn't do anything because he found his mom dead and that ruined him. Now im wondering who Fizz moved in with that kept Blitz away. Did Blitz's dad adopt him and throw Blitz to the curb?

Honestly one of the best episodes of the show so far!

This episode was soooo good. We got so much backstory and explanations. Fizz lost all 4 limbs, had his face burned off except where the clown nose was, and his horns blown off which is why their floppy now. Also why Blitz has half a face that's white, same fire. He seemingly lost his Mom, and from the sounds of it people thought the fire was his fault. All the side characters coming together gave a finale-ish feeling. We got to see that not only Ozzie is a loving partner, he also is all about consent based on how hes against love potions. This episode was definitely for the lore lovers of the show. Something many have been asking for for a while. I get why Nic is wanting more comedy, so no I don't hate you lol. Nate has the jyst of it being for character growth and yeah Always Sunny didn't need that, but I think from near the start of the series fans became endeared to the characters so seeing more lore and such is wanted on top of comedy. Its ok though to prefer the comedy side or the lore side of the show. We all have out tastes. Maybe next episode to balance out the seriousness lately they'll make it more comedic! I like it balanced between the two sides.

This was a good episode and it’s interesting to see blitz get a solo episode without the rest of IMP. Cool change of pace.

I lived with roommates and we had a cat that lived with us. It was a black cat with green eyes and he was named Toothless was a very sweet thing and liked to snuggle up in high places.

Ozzy is being a hypocrite but this is hell and misery loves company. A majority of clients are probably lonely people that want to drown their sorrows in lust and not think about love. So he needs the lust persona to keep clients coming

I find it interestingly realistic that big celebrity royal persona in public is literally everything they think he is cranked to 11 but he's a genuine person who is just trying to enjoy life

when i pieced together what we learned in this episode it sent me on a trip blitz accidently causing the fire caused fiz to hate him thinking it wasnt an accident, it caused his sister to hate him because it caused the death of their mother. if you pay attention blitz was bringing a love letter to fiz the day of the accident so that adds to not wanting to admit he has feelings for stolas. the last time blitz felt love for someone it ended in a horrible way. so now not only is he afraid to die alone hes also afraid to repeat history causing him to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. this also make the scene when blitz was looking at old photos so much worse because we were lead to believe that everyone we saw including his mother just left him and hated him but knowing shes dead makes that scene hit way harder. and i have a theory that barbie became an addict to numb the pain of losing her mother.

This episode explains why Blitz was a mess after S1E7 when he got home from "Ozzie's" he looked at some pictures on his phone and he had an emotional meltdown after looking at his family photo... and in the end credits I noticed Ozzie's voice actor - James Monroe Igleheart is also the voice of Vortex (the hellhound Loona had a crush on in S1E3 and S1E8)

I see Fizz distraction all those mobsters for so long as when the Bard cast all the charm spell while the Rogue (Blitzo) go to work on escaping!😂

This is one of my favorite episodes. I'm glad Bliz and Fizz were able to bury the hatchet, every character had a part to play in the story, and there's some honest to God character development. It's a vast improvement compared to the last episode. In my opinion, no matter how harsh or mean-spirited a show is, it needs to have some sort of heart/sincerity to balance it out. _Breaking Bad_ has heart with WW's family, and Jesse's moral standing; _Bojack Horseman_ has heart with the main character acknowledging his problems and wanting to improve; even _Rick and Morty_ , despite its questionable narrative framing, has heart. And _Helluva Boss_ is no different.

The animation for this episode was so freaking 👌🏾

Fun fact about how I watched the show: I saw the episode with Moxxie’s dad then I watched the newer episode and here he is again! Geez what a coincidence!

I'm sure we'll still get plenty of more humor oriented stuff from the series. Its supposedly going to have a 4 season run and I doubt that the whole rest of the journey will be heavily emotional and serious. Its gotta be a balance of both. Let the folks at Spindlehorse cook. This episode was fantastic at giving us so much of the missing pieces to why Blitz and his former circle of friends and family are so fragmented and estranged. As someone who loves delving into any lore this was a feast for me. Also I just love the wholesomeness of Fizz and Ozzie's relationship. I'm so glad they returned so soon.

Were getting the Mammon special soon....wether in oct, nov or maybe december but that ep is gonna be even better then this!!

Even if Asmodius is the weakest sin he's still immensely powerful in his own right and to fuck with him would be the stupidest mistake ever

The BK near where I live is the only one I know that does burgers for breakfast. You know, cheeseburgers, whoppers, bacon kings, it's still a limited selection, but the fact you can get a cheeseburger and a bacon egg cheese croissant is just a bit out there.

Season 2 has been kind of hit or miss with its episodes, especially compared to season 1, but this felt like one of the show's best episodes.

@@theycallmebad @thegoose1005 Ok, I think hit or miss is a little too strong of a way to phrase it. I don't think any of the HB episodes, Season 1 or 2, are necessarily bad. I just feel like the only episode I had any problems with from season 1 was Truth Seekers. Still a good episode, but the beginning felt off. I just think season 2 has something that has felt off in almost half of the episodes so far. I don't really count Queen Bee because it was technically a cut episode from season 1. I still like season 2. Just not as much as season 1 so far. Highlights being: -Stolas and Blitzo's backstory -M&M's tag team fight against Striker -Loona and Octavia's newfound friendship -Millie and Blitzo doing a Shrek -Everything about the newest episode

I get the feeling Blitz and Roger from American Dad would be bffs

It seems like the Sins have healthy relationships in all of Hell. Examples would be Ozzie and Fizzilrolli, Beezlebub and Vortex, and even though they haven't made an appearance yet, Lucifer and Lillith.

I would have expected the kity to actually be named after the constellation. Was my actual first guess.

To me them not ending Fizz during the distraction seemed fine, but Striker falling for it and losing sight of Blitzo and not killing him was the BS of that scene.

Love from a Vaush and Viziepop fan!

I love this episode because blitzø has very few emotional support and him talking out with what could be a brother makes it all better

How come when Ozzie is in his suit his arms are skinnier? I guess fizz was right, he is good at squeezing things in 😅

I love this episode!

I think this episode earned back some of the hype that the last few episodes lost. My only issues are that the Fizz distraction felt a little too unbelievable, even for a joke, and that the time between us learning what happened to Fizz, and Blitzø redeeming himself during a nearly identical situation felt more than a tad bit rushed. If the gangsters had kept up some attempt at catching or shooting Fizz during his song, and if they had waited to give Blitzø his full redemption at a later date, this episode might've been a 10/10. Either way, I'd still give it a solid 8/10.

Oh same, if the gangsters were doing distracted chasing where it all comedically failed that would of been a bit better. Not faulting the attempt though. I dont feel Blitz and Fizz redemption is fully done. I think this episode lit the spark of Blitz finally reconnecting and healing with it working out even just a little bit. I doubt they'll be best pals next episode. I can see Fizz popping up more in the future, maybe being a sarcastic teaser but starting to show he cares and helping Blitz learn to be open again. It be awesome if he helps Blitz and Stolas. Who knows, supposedly we got 2 more seasons beyond this season so there can be a lot of highs and lows in the healing and overall story.

Spencer Charnas will agree with that statement especially in IT is the end. 4:20

Yuuuuup. Plus, there's when you fight for love. Camilla killed an angel to protect her daughters, can you imagine what Ozzie could do for Fizz.

Normally I dislike Butch Hartman style jokes where they telegraph something happening that runs contrary to what they say, but it is hilarious how despite Fizzie saying he was gonna be low key, he exceeded just how over the top I expected him to be.😂

9:39 I said it first time I watched this episode and I'll say it again, I didn't expect one of the easter eggs to be a callout to Batman the animated series. But there's this scene that reminds me of Harley Quin on roller skates and her hyenas pulling her along leaving mayhem behind her.

5:31 sounds like heresy

I feel like this episode and the previous one should be swapped. We really weren't goven a good reason Barbie Wire hated Blitz so much, while this episode provides a plausible explanation: he is the reason thier mother died. We also have striker referenceing episode 4 as having just happened last week. It would fit better if there wasn't an episode in between.

Nate allows his positive side to blind him to faults well you let your negative side affect seeing the great details, Nate praised the story elements well you thought they were unnecessary to the humor you wanted. However neither of you pointed out something objectively craticable like how Fizz and Blitz recover very fast in their relationship. People can review something in positive and/or negative views but if you let one small detail cloud your view of the entire episode or show you're not really reviewing it but prejudging all events so they can fit into either your negative or positive view. If Nate enjoys a part of the story then a joke seems to land better but if you hate a joke the story doesn't seems to fit well with you. All this is fine if you're just there to enjoy the content but despite trying neither of you have given me an objective review of the good or the bad in this episode. All that is not really a review but a reaction which is fine but you're supposed to at least enjoy reacting to something (either positively or negatively) not actively hate watching it which is just bad for everyone.

This was the rare case of low reactions. They have a track record of turning a 5 minute video in a 40 minute reaction and talking about many things. Sometimes things unrelated.That should work as an answer to your question.

This isnt a show about those in Hell anymore so I'm done with this, they're just going to make everyone good and have morals.
