He did not fly helicopters in Afghanistan or anywhere else, he was a gunner who never took part in combat, he was protected by the Ghurkas, hence the name "Bunker Harry", he slept through the attack on Camp Bastion which was initiated because he was there, REAL soldiers died that day. Also he was not there the same length of time as the rest of our Soldiers.

If you look up the financial records of what's really a grift, masquerading as a charity IMO, you find that ~74% of the funds go for "operating costs and overhead", meaning it's really going into the pockets of those running the "charity" (Tillman's widow/her hubby rack up huge salaries). A real charity should never use more than 25% of their funds for "operating costs and overhead" and if you're considering a charity, make sure you check out just how much of your donation is actually going to the people/support charitable goals. As Mary Tillman, Pat's mother, pointed out, Stolen-Valor Hank is a divisive and controversial figure which is precisely why he was "chosen". IOW, Flop Gun Hank and his gold-digging, social climbing harpy-wife, Walmart Wallis, are going result in a lot of publicity because they ARE "controversial and divisive" (deliberately, maliciously so for their own self-aggrandizement and enrichment) which translates into huge traffic and advertisers for this disgraceful event, dishonoring a real American hero so Tillman's widow can live the high life (yes, that's my frank opinion!). ​@@run2cat4runif you do your research the rf only cost each taxpayer just over a pound per year. The rf bring in approximately 1.4 pounds to the economy every year. Easy to find. Some of Harry's lawsuit costs are actually being taxpayer funded.

What Mary Tillman can do is to let ESPN/Disney know she wants Pat’s name removed and disassociated with this award as it’s disrespecting and cheapening her son who honoured and lost his life for his country. This also now shows they hand out awards to anyone and there’s no honour/pride in receiving them. I stand with Mary Tillman as my whole family has fought in different wars over the years and none of them got honours. They are all humble.

They would have to be desperate, to consider that Sparry MountMarkle, is the best option for this award, by the suggestion alone, it means that “someone”, is throwing the fallen “Prince” a “bone”, a pity party for the Prince, comes at a cost, and there’s no doubt that somebody, is footing the bill for it! It should go to an American. He gave up service to his country and all the pomp and ceremony to what, making himself look foolish on the world stage, not a patch on the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Rich people slapping backs with other rich people,and giving each other awards for doing it, has always happened, and always will. They have the money so they can, but they should not forget that most of their money comes from the great unwashed, and if they blatantly disregard them, it will come back and bite them, look at Disney's stock price! harry is not very likable, because of his behaviour, there are thousands of people more deserving of this award then him, thousands of people who have done more, sacrificed more, represent more, so his choice was not on his merits, it was just for publicity. So they got the publicity, will they get the money? IMO the INVICTUS games has lost money and respect,, Archwell appears to be losing money and respect, betterup is struggling. If you pick a patron that brings bad publicity to a charity, normally they are sidelined, or removed because it hurts the donations, if they insist on keeping him as the focus point, IMO they will lose money. It is up to them, it is their business, while it is still in profit.
