It is sad when British "experts" don't get the facts right. Harry didn't serve two tours in Afghanistan. One tour is 3 - 9 months. He was shipped out twice and his two appearance together did not add up to 3 months. He bravely played his xbox in his well fortified bunker, showed up for photo opps in his clean uniforms, and escaped drug tests. He was not a pilot either. None of his passing time in Afghanistan made him a hero. Moreover, as two people lost their lives defending this waste of space, the word of hero should never be included in the same sentence with Harry. Shame on the Palace for trying to make him a hero on the lives of other people. Those people were more worthy than the clown prince.

Pat Tillman was smeared after his death as a Bunker Pat and a poor soldier - they were covering up his murder by his own side. He was an embarrassment to those in power. Harry was given leave during base lockdowns to avoid mandatory drug testing. He was given fast track officer training and some say he received special treatment through Sandringham and gunner training. 8 weeks of deployment twice isn’t impressive. Most deploy for 12-15 months. I could go on describing Harry’s privileges but I’m sure you know them. Harry is NOT exceptional like Pat Tillman was. Harry turned his back on family and country to chase fame and fortune.

Exactly. Harry's service in Afghanistan was staged. Almost every time we saw him the was in a bunker playing video games. He failed his pilots license THREE times....period. He was a gunner. He never came close to danger b/c he was followed around by two people seeing to his safety. William and the Foundation also helped start the Invictus games along with Harry. William had a full plate and handed it over to his brother. He brother betrayed the military when he walked away. Richard needs to stop trying to cover for Harry. Harry has no class and no sense of duty. William does. Just stop trying to paint Harry in a good light. He is a spoiled brat that has never grown up.

Three weeks in one tour and 10 weeks in the last. I’ll put that against my son who did four tours . Harry makes most of us ill. He really needs to go home.

Why does everyone say Harry did his 2 tours of Afghanistan just bravely? He had protection officers around him. He was not put directly in the line of fire like some of his colleagues. His colleagues call him 'Bunker Harry' for a reason. He didn't do the full tour of duty like his colleagues and he was pulled back to the UK when it was thought that he was a danger to his comrades. Why is everyone overlooking these points.... or am I incorrect?

We in the US have heard over and over that Harry’s military stint involved him hunkered down in his quarters playing games and that he never passed his training to fly a helicopter and that his comrades covered his failures. If a portion of these statements are true, then for me, I cannot consider him a deserving of any award connected to the military.

What they completely acknowledge what happened regarding the camp Bastion Assault. 2 US Marines killed and 8 Us solders and 8 British solders wounded preventing the Taliban from getting to Harry after someone leaked that he was there. Once the fighting was over SAS flew Harry out to Nepal to assist with Earthquake disaster relief. From there he was sent to Africa to hang out until his fake GI Joe contract was up and he could be called a war hero for doing nothing

Harry’s fellow soldiers have said many times that he was known in Afghanistan among the rest of the soldiers as “bunker Harry” because he was always protected from any action and any danger and had a group of Ghurka soldiers protecting him at all times. His two tours in Afghanistan consisted of 10 weeks each as opposed of 6 months for everybody else and one of the two tours was cut short because one of the Australian tabloids found out he was there and publicised it so he was immediately pulled out of the country. And you are right, he never passed the pilot’s exam like he never passed any other exam at school or at Sandhurst ( the army training academy) .

That's because his own soldiers killed him, and that hugely embarrassed those in power. When you hear Harry called Bunker Harry, try to think: "Why would the same establishment and RF that celebrated his bravery NOW claim he isn't all that? Is it because, like Tillman, he's become an embarrassment to people in power?" And then draw your own conclusions. Because Pat was smeared EXACTLY the same way as Harry FOR YEARS.

I know. They disgust me.

My main objection to Harry getting the Tillman award is its focus on a key thing that is damaging the Invictus Games. Harry and Meghan's insistence on taking centre stage, and all the credit for the games, instead of building up the profile of the Invictus Foundation and the Games themselves. It has been one of the major criticisms of Invictus in the last few years - and centering it on one or two 'personalities' will do nothing but damage in the long term.

Weren’t two American soldiers were killed in an attack on Camp Bastion when the enemy was trying to get to Harry? British soldiers were killed in that attack as well.

It's ironic, but Pat Tillman was also smeared the same way after his death. Because he was murdered by his own side, there was a coverup and those in power smeared him as Bunker Pat and claimed he was cowardly and on a celebrity tour. It took his family years to learn the truth. Harry was always portrayed as an honourable veteran - right up until HE began embarrassing those in power and in the media...now HE is Bunker Harry and called that by the same press he is suing. People wised up about Pat. People will stop and realize: Oh, I'm being manipulated by the same press that called Harry a hero right before he sued them and it'll all blow over.

Love the show!❤ It's coming out that the Tillman organization is a bit dodgey. Operating costs are 72% considered too high to be recommended as a solid NFP. Tillmans former wife and new husvand run it. There are ties to organizations who tend to supprt each other and pass around government grants they are awarded. Who pays? The U.S. taxpayer.

The Pat Tillman foundation should not be given donations if it takes 75%i in donations for expenses it is disgraceful for more not to go directly to veterans just like Invictus games accounts I see large wages and staff costs nothing about funding veterans expenses. What is the purpose of the board if it cannot help it's veterans with expenses and travel costs to compete.
