As an American I am deeply ashamed that the Pat Tillman award was given to Prince Harry who is not and never has been a hero. He is not even an American. He is Bunker Harry. To think that Espn ignored Mary Tillman's wishes about this has left a bitter taste in the mouth. I am disgusted with Espn and will never ever support them. Mom was aware of the $250,000 donation by the Harkles and knew what was going on. Her hands were tied since her ex-daughter in law runs the Pat Tillman Organization. Her daughter ex-daughter in law with her new husband were laughing all the way to the bank pocketing $225,000 (90%) while only giving veterans $25,000 (10%). And this was only one donation! I hardly doubt next year will be as productive with donations now that it has come out, she keeps 90% of those donations.

If he had any insight, he would have knocked the award back.

Harry and Meghan have shown that they live to serve themselves, not others as they so claim. As a 25 yr amputee, I was appalled that Harry accepted the award.

He's no hero or American, he is shameful and makes me utterly sick! My heart goes out to Mary Tillman. Delia UK.

Pat Tillman was an American citizen. Were there no other Americans worthy of this award, more so than a BRIT, whose experiences of millitary service was a rather protective one, furthermore, he has rejected working, so hes no longer even involved in any decisions regarding the invictus games. Its an American tragedy.

To have the two wounded, brave vets standing beside Harry while he excepted the award was really shocking. Couldn't Harry see they were far more worthy than he will ever be as a protected, privileged Prince.

Action speaks louder than words! His words said one thing while he disrespected her. Pat Tillman's mom wanted a simple veteran to get the award who does not have the platform Harry has to get the award. Greed! Or for his visa?

Prince Hairplugs looked like a lamb to the slaughter going up to accept his BOUGHT award. Note that Venus Williams did not appear to clap and did not participate in the standing ovation.

So Harry ended his speech in regard to Invictus with “we leave no one behind”. Well, he left his family behind, his country behind, his close friends behind, the BAKA people behind . . . Harry knew many people signed a petition saying he didn’t deserve the Tillman award, so his team had to humanize him to the public. How? Bring out the injured veterans, refer to the loving bond Mary Tillman had with her son and keep the wife off the stage.
