Merry Christmas mate. I've been going through a lot of your titan content preparing to paint a Warhound, and I've been working out how to paint trim. I'm going off of your Aged Gold Trim tutorial from 2019 but I'm not wanting to use Vallejo Liquid Gold. Would it be a good option to start with Retributor Armour as a base and dull it down with the washes, then edge highlight with Liberator Gold (I haven't used Lib Gold yet and am worried the overall look might come out a bit bright)? As opposed to going Brassy Brass -> Liquid Gold -> washes with a Retributor Armour edge highlight. Thanks so much

Hey Jack! That trim recipe you just mentioned I have used on alot of my Knights to be honest as I ran out of Liquid Gold, or it dried up or something! So you should be fine to Retributor and wash down with a mix of nuln oil and sepia to get it dark and moody looking. I'd then test that Liberator isn't too stark/bright first before applying everywhere. You can try it on some sprue maybe first to see if it works for you? Nice square edges to check against there. Also add a small amount of silver on the very corners works too (after the gold edges)
