Handling GameBoy Pocket screens

Ойындар

In this video I'm replacing burnt polarisers (front and back) on Game Boy Pocket screen. I'm using a handy contraption that helps dealing with GBP screens without damaging the ribbon cables. I find this "device" really useful as it makes the polariser removal a lot easier and safer.
The original idea/concept of the contraption is taken from this video: • 【游戏咖啡馆】修复一台屏幕老化的GameBo...
Also have a look at my other video where I'm fixing horizontal lines on damaged GBP screen: • GameBoy Pocket horizon...

You need a FSTN front polarizer film ,you are using a TN polarizer from Gameboy Classic. l have some videos of Gameboy Pocket too

Yes, I know but they are way too expensive (and in this video it's only for testing to see if the screen works). Another option is to use some sort of retardation film - I'll test a few and will do a video when I'm ready... I've way too many screens that need fixing so need to find cheaper solution :)
