I like this concept. Love the hand histories. But we need some graphics to show the stack sizes! Key piece of information missing on almost all of these hand histories.

These breakdowns are insane, you remeber hands off the table down to the suits and exact betting sizes. That's so sick, amazing energy on the 9 10 off hand.

The only reason why it would be hard was because Daniel flatted with his AK preflop. Unconventional imo which then set up some trickiness. The thing is tho that Alex only has the idiot end of the straight which is not usually a bad made hand, but compared to river aggression from Daniel no less? Easy fold
Was hoping you would do some more of these videos Daniel! Awesome. Top content. Wish more big time poker pros put the work in for the people like you do!
Missed you Daniel. Got so used to seeing your vlogs every day that I didn't know what to do while I was supposed to be working...
I got damn love this concept. Especially how u lay it down, and Give me time to think about the situations and what would be my actions.
These vids are fantastic Dan. I appreciate you.
Thanks for the breakdowns @Dnegs, the influence you have in so many lives with each video you make has to be satisfying. That alone is a testimony to all your hard work. Keep it up brother!

Yes!! Loving these hand breakdowns! Thank you Daniel! 🙏🙏🙏
This video was the one I needed so I would understand how much knowledge you need to actually play poker. I fold & walk away. Thanks for saving me money and frustration! 😆
You are the most fun to listen to so far.
This is Gooooooodd !!! Great Content Daniel. Thanks a lot!!
Daniel looks like a really sound chap, the type you could happily share a beer with and just have a genuinely pleasant conversation. In short, a really nice chap.
Your memory is fantastic. Amazing
Seeing that you're starting to go full Addamo, I'd absolutely call you if I had a Q. The only thing I'd be afraid of is like AQ. But if I had a Q, knowing that you've suddenly become a bully, hands down I'd call. Bully = huge range. Honestly, the guy must have been playing to get in the money.

Crazy fold imo. For sure most people would've called that bet in that position.
I would call! Your range is insane from there. Probably kings or Aces, set or bluff 😂 I couldn’t fold trips.
You should do a video on that RV. Love these hand breakdowns
Big Fan! Keep up the great content!!!
YES! I guessed right. I knew you had to have an overpair on the hand at 16:00. Great call and I hope that guy with pocket tens folded.
Man I forgot how much I miss these WSOP vlogs. Any trailer updates for the Paris p-lot or garage I should say.
Great format
Love this Daniel but could you add how many BB's players have in their stacks on each hands?
I like how Daniel teaches through his failures. If you just watched his channel which shows him often losing you would think he wasn't a very good poker player. Au contraire.
Great breakdown Daniel do u ever come to Melbourne? there is one casino here only and poker room is always full I’ll be happy to sit on same table with u a question last time I went there there was a guy that raise on my pair of 10’s I called flop came 5 7 2 rainbow suddenly he raised ,what would you do holding pair of 10 and someone raise I thought about it I had top pair and didn’t want to fold I tried to push him away called all in he called and showed 5 7 ( two pair ) turn and river didn’t help me and I lost all my chips what would u do Daniel if u were me ? Call or just fold ?
Enjoyed this hand breakdown especially when you made up predict your range.
While it may sound basic now, the concept of "what hand could explain the other guy's betting pattern" to be the most useful way of looking at a poker hand.
Great breakdown.
Hey Daniel. How do you feel about video poker? Like on gambling sites. Thanks.
great content, thanks!
amazing video, u are the best
How big are your stacks in the rounds? This information would be good to be able to really assess the situation... Ok blind size but stack size as info would be good
I haven't seen the cards you had for Quiz time, but... When the turn comes up Q and I had a QT, I would have called, or maybe jammed all in. I think probably you were to that point repping A6 suited, or even pocket 2's. Or you had AK, AA, KK, or even TT.
Man, good memories here.
6:33 I try to avoid the all in , it’s the part we can’t control so I’m with you.
So technically speaking at around 11:00, would KT be part of your range? Or is that just a plain bluff?
In a lot of the tournaments I play in, it's really hard to get a person to fold top pair with no draws getting there
Great video.
About the QTss hand, it only works vs thinking players.
These rep ranges only work in higher (than 2 and 5NL) stakes as the people in those tend to not understand ranges therefore dont consider them, they'd just frightened off by a all-in - is that true?
why are you folding Q9 even if its suited? love your vids btw
I’m so confused on the QJ hand when 2 9s flop on the board. he bet so he’s at least repping that he has that 9. even if you get that J which happened you still lose 3 of a kind to 2 pair. so confused on no fold? am i wrong or just a nit
Hey Daniel, to your question in the video at 08:57 (I have paused the video so maybe you have answered it after). UTG starts the raise, and you're in the cut off, so you're in late position, and your range is a little opened, BUT, as he was raising under the gun his range from this early position is limited, he can represent a high pair (9-A) or an AK,AQ, AJ and maybe A10s and maybe KQs and maybe some more hands which depends how is this player (loose, tight etc.) your hand could be a pair, probably less than a pocket 9s otherwise you would have raised your hand could be AQo, AJo/s, A10s , if you would have had AK you would have raised your hand could be KQs, KJs, QJs your apponent fold with Q10 where he hit the 3 of a kind, so he must have placed you with at least a Q and a kicker that is higher than his 10......so for that range i've noted above, could be KQ, AQ Am I right?
@yaronnir
2 жыл бұрын
i just so your answer :) so you had K10s and you bluff the Q10 - Nicely played. but a loose player would have made the call, and i think you in the other player's position would have made the call yourself :)

along with 66 and 22 for a boat
My guess in the mystery hand was JT suited…crazy buddy folded the 3 Qs …wish I could do that haha
How was folding 3 queens the right move dnegs??
Yes I would call with Q 10
The last hand is the exact same situation I faced in a $215 online tournament. I held 89 the flop came TJQ early position raised and I called then button pushes allin. Everyone was 50BBs deep or so, so I fold. Early position had KQ and button had a set of jacks. It’s amazing how bad plays make online so difficult to get good results.

@@toddmurphy390 Yes, i agree with You about this AK. Very possibile. But still hard to fold for me i think :D
Hoped you would go back after each hand break down from WSOP to comment if you agree right now with your decision back then. Still love it that it is here as I am sure it took a lot of work 😄
I would have called at 9:15 against you. Don’t know what your cards are yet. Edit: Saw your cards now. I knew it >:) I fold that against anyone else. But not you. Because you’re full of it
My poker instincts say that you have middle pocket pair like 77-99 or a suited connector like 67s, 86s (mid pair). That betting sequence makes the most sense judging by the bet sizing. I just cant fold the QTs there vs you, especially if it's not on the bubble or any other special stage of the mtt. It's doubly unlikely that you have a better Q seeing that 3 Qs are accounted for.

I trust Daniel. If he says based on that action, Q 10 would likely be beat I believe him. I have no problem folding that if it makes me a better player
Very nice video fun content
Goat content
I don't understand why he folds q10. What was Daniel representing? Q and a higher kicker?
10:37 why would you fold Q 9 suited pre flop?
Quiz: the hands you're representing are AQ or 66 (22 unlikely to call pre flop I'm thinking). I wouldn't fold if I was UTG. Chip advantage, Daniel is an aggressive player playing in good position means he's likely to bluff.
Quiz Guess: I thought you caught top pair with the Queen but with a weaker kicker you were trying to protect with the initial bet and turned the set but the reveal by the other player makes me think you had a set on the flop and a pocket pair like 6s or more likely 2s you were betting hard on to eliminate being drawn out on. Over pocket pair seems unlikely given the strong bet on the turn I doubt you had KK or AA and something like AQ would not have been played so heavy either. I would have called with Q10 Range: KQ, QJ, Q10, Q9, 22, 66
I'm definitely calling, probably shoving though. I would of put you on high pocket pair
hum, I'd go for pocket 6 for you on the day 14 Quiz.
Range is AQ KQ QJ some Q10s wouldn’t go much lower, pocket 2s or 6s maybe there but not overly likely coz you often will 3 bet them in the cut off vs utg raise and they play better for flop vs post flop. Some bluffs then like AJ AK which block AQ KQ QJ for him
Your range is very strong because you called the utg raise , which makes your range very small and very very strong . Makes me think you had aq or kq
I think you range may include pocket 6, pocket 2, Q6 suited, QA, I don't think that you was bluffing though because you got calls on the flop. If you are, then it is crazy bluff :D
Why was dnegs positional seating of such value? I’m trying to learn this because that’s insane to think.
poker noobie here. Why would he Alex 3x Bet on a 8/9 hand ? was it to bluff from the start? anybody kind enough to give some context. thanks.
Can't believe that guy folded the Queen 10.
How did he make the right fold when calling your k10 would’ve paid? So easy for you to say now but you could’ve just as easily been shipped
Can someone go over the trip queens hand again? I’m still new but I would not have ever folded that.
You never include the chip stacks
All this poker knowledge for free AND a gratuitous roast of helmuth. Ty
I would have jammed pre flop with the 10s hoping you’d put me on a higher hand
You are my idol ❤️
thank you
How did he make the right fold? He called the flop with his Q, his hand improved with the same card on turn and he laid it down. Seems to me you shouldn't call the flop, get the best card you could improve with, then fold because the screen says Daniel N
After pausing after each street i did some guessing as to what each player could have, when the aggressor check calls the flop instantly i thought of BB having a 6 or deuce maybe 34 or 45 and aggressor/utg player as having QJ, Q10, KQ, KK, AA for a specific reason that this is one of what id say is the driest most uncoordinated flops that can ever come out that has a high folding rate to continuation bets but also has a higher check raise/bet raise against solid players with this awareness, so being in his shoes i felt him checking back a weak queen/overpair to pot control was logical and also him maybe trying to trap by inducing IP player to bluff which may be the play he was going for to secure some value instead of scaring away most hands that dont hit this board until he saw BB call it kind of shut down his confidence of trapping for small value and also didnt help his disguising of hand by ruining a "floating perception" with AK or something so i think that was where his thoughts began to shift into vulnerability and i think Daniel picked up on this because what was really telling which is brilliant by Daniel that if this was a bluff its a perfect bet and story to begin telling by representing and protecting his pocket 2s and pocket 6s here which are the two hands i put Daniel on potentially having and needing to respect here as he opted to check his hand instead of bet which opens the door for tough spots like this because when that Queen hit the turn he noticed Daniel not slowing down whereas most players opt to check here even with a Queen which is why betting here with pocket 6s or 2s would protect your bluffs as it forces this player to tell you their exact hand which is what i believe this player was aware of and was caught off guard by now knowing it was either shove or fold as if he calls its surely giving the player who may or may not have the better hand the absolute green light to shove the river if he checks the river over to them as donk leading all in on river after calling Daniels turn bet would just be super weird and act as more of a prayer Daniel had air when he is showing this much strength. So my guess is Daniel has pocket 6s or 2s whilst capable of bluffs with 34s, 45s, A6, 44, 55, 77, 88 but i had this exact situation happen to me where i check called and turned 3 Qs on a Q84 rainbow board and check shoved turn when guy 2/3rds pot it in a mutiway hand, he snaps me off with pocket 8s. Its super strong when a player doesnt slow down when that Q comes out on turn on such a dry flop that its a perfect card to bluff a Q off their hand and a perfect card to get a previously unaware player in myself to overplay their hand right into a full house all because i narrow mindedly over valued and over played my hand. Anyway thats my interpretation i know it was long so thanks to anyone who took the time to read this out as those are my thoughts on it.
@Flip1717

and just watched passed and saw Daniels answer to that i say i wish my opponent had that when it happened to me! lol no but i agree that in theory it is the right fold because it does look super strong and usually is but it is a great brilliant play to make when u sense its the right situation to do that.
The Nathan gamble hand your suppose to raise the flop if he jams you fold but you have the ability to put him on a set at that point he calls you know he has a made hand already not many people are gonna call most there stack chasing a draw on that type of flop
Man I would have been fleeced with those 10s
Going to miss the RIO in the background of your VLOGS next year.
2,2 or AQ? Not sure. That's why you're the greatest!
I think you have a bluff because it’s a perfect spot to bluff, your range is 22 66
The UDG called with no draws on the board and you still bet strong so I do think you probably had a hand, a somewhat good hand. Any queen or 66, 22. If you had the Q you probably had better kicker too. Still would have been too difficult to get away from the Q10 for me I think.
Lol I don’t care how much “credit” D-Negs has, if I have a set of queens on the turn there’s no way I’m folding. Especially if I’m already invested in the pot
@az456az

that's what splits the pros from everyone else - even though we think it's an absurd play, the guy folded and Dnegs said that's the right play too. If you're "always" calling there then pros can exploit you and milk you down all streets with a higher kicker
OMG Daniel, i guessed it!!! I Swear!!!!!
I would say full house is what your reping, like Q6

Sry thought Flop checked thru. Qx,pp 267+,still call tho.
I actually thought you have KJ that blocks QJ and QK suited. (The hand before Day 15)
Quiz time attempt In CO, when you flat a min raise, I would assume you have a wide range. Higher part of the range could be big pairs looking to trap someone who raises to squeeze, and therefore you inherently flat with some lower pairs just looking for a flop too. So maybe 22 - 99 you flat. The non pair part of the range I would imagine would be hands like 53/54/34 suited maybe?

You have AQ to Q10, pocket 6 or 2. I would’ve called with Q10.
Tbh I thought you have the queen ace off or sixes. I dont know if youd bet that way with sixes on the flop though, maybe a random move in some cases, but like you said you played it extremely strong and i thought you had his queen beat without even being there lol.
