WHAT IS TALK HEATHEN?
Talk Heathen is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared toward long-form and on-going dialogue with theists & atheists about religion, theism, & secularism. Talk Heathen is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
Talk Heathen is filmed in front of a live studio audience every week at the Freethought Library of the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop & support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing & friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of government-religion separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists & to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

@@witebatman well as we all know from watching ACA shows, the null hypothesis means that not believing is the default. Idk if it does, but I haven't seen a single reputable study that shows it does. I can see this as being similar to your "Identity" in general. You are a Doctor if you went to medical school, work as a doctor, and identify as a doctor. You are an Artist if you do art-- Gender is not the same as "Sex." Hamish strikes me as the most boring man in Scotland, or anywhere. He's like Marvin the Robot.

Just like a person can look like a man but is actually a woman. In snake society, I'm guessing the other snakes don't bully the one that looks like sand and tell it that it's not a snake because it looks like sand. In human society, we absolutely have that issue. 😅

He does work in very mysterious ways & "who are we" to even question any of his divine creations? 🤔 Possibly divinely created Intersex humans should therefore be revered and exalted and certainly never questioned or denigrated. Who is any Christian to question GOD and even the smallest sliver or percentage of his majestic Creations and how could anyone be certain that everlasting Hell does not await them for doing so?

The only shit that worries me as a trans person is seeing people who supposedly "accept and support" us actively saying things and pusbing for things that are herming our overall societal acceptance. Despite what the news hesdlines say, despite what GLAD says; the midwestern states people are told to "avoid" are by far the kindest most accepting areas for trans people.
