I once temporarily worked for a private, armed security armored car service. (I left because back then, the company eventually mandated all to be clean shaven, and I had a beard. This encounter reminds me of the he Mali Watkins incident where a Alameda man was exercising, and a woman called telling the Alameda police a crazy man is in the streets. Mali Watkins tried to dispel the officer's suspicion, but they got aggressive with him using force. He won a 6 figure settlement, but in Federal lawsuits, the city/county defends their officer's to a teeth.

This encounter reminds me of the he Mali Watkins incident where a Alameda man was exercising, and a woman called telling the Alameda police a crazy man is in the streets. Mali Watkins tried to dispel the officer's suspicion, but they got aggressive with him using force. He won a 6 figure settlement, but in Federal lawsuits, the city/county defends their officer's to a teeth.

It's not (RAS) Reasonable articulate suspicion it's (ARS) Articulate reasonable suspicion... I know I’m going to get some junk back but please just think about it... Reasonable Suspicion = Detention. For a detention or investigative stop to be valid, a peace officer must be able to articulate specific facts supporting their reasonable suspicion of: The possibility of criminal activity; and. The person detained is somehow connected to that possible criminal activity Please think about the words it’s like saying (REASONABLE ARTICULABLE SUSPICION) R=LOGICALLY A-TALK/EXPLAIN S-SUSPICION... Bottom line officer must be able to ARTICULATE specific facts supporting their REASONABLE SUSPICION. You need Reasonable Suspicion to detain NOT Articulable Suspicion, what does that even mean
