I remember a story where the cop in court said he eyeballed the person speeding without actually using a radar. The judge picked up a pencil and threw it across the room. He then asked the cop "how fast was that pencil going?". The cop was dumbfounded. Case dismissed.

If there was a scientific social study done of the 60 years after they took the Bible and prayer out of our schools and the 60 years previous they would have to admit wholeheartedly it was a complete failure and needs to be reversed immediately.

That method of checking the license for legintmesy and making stuff up on a ticket and report because the driver handed the license looks similar to the strategy of drugs "sniffing" cops because you let them search your car they can and too many times will take it as you just pled guilty regardless if there were no drugs in the car, they knew entirely what they were doing is wrong.

Apparently, it was the same type of car that I had at the time, which was a common car (a Dodge Aries / a K-car). My car had damage on it, but that damage was from a while ago. There was another time where I wasn't in a car, I was walking home from a party with a boy, and the police stopped us because apparently a couple was stealing from houses. ATA seems to use "A+" through "F" as a replacement for the 10-1 scale. Which I often find annoying, as many places a "D" is still a passable grade, and "F" is a whole range of grades, of varying levels of failure; ranging from barely not passable to utterly abysmal failure. I really think ATA should just switch to 1-10, as that seems to be more in line with how he wants to grade things. Or he needs to have some type of caveat on any "F" grade to explain how bad of a failure it was.

Right, I lost on a speeding ticket because I didn't have the cop recorded saying that he thought he had lost track of me on the freeway, because apparently he was supposedly clocking from the opposite direction, passed 4 lanes of traffic and supposedly had to catch up with me, despite me driving with traffic and not passing people. And how he supposedly lost track of my car visually for over a mile as he had to go around from south bound to catch up to me going north bound and I had only gotten on the on freeway like 3 miles back to start with. I believe he got me mixed up with another car, because I was doing almost 10 under what he said I was. But I lacked the video to challenge how he could know he had the right car after "losing" me for over a mile. And how he could get a clear radar hit across 4 lanes of traffic all going my speed or faster. People were literally passing me where he told me that he tagged my speed. If I had a dash cam I could have used people passing me and what he said to refute my ticket.

Had a Carol township police officer do the same thing. Changed reasoning for stop he realized his lie made no sense. Said I broke the law for going past a detour sign. When he gave me the article he was trying to cite me for I pointed out that it says it was a road closure sign which was over 100 yards away. And it had concrete barriers preventing me from physically doing it even if I wanted to. I let him know I've had the same training, and perhaps better as an military police officer. I've been offering (sarcastically) the department to provide training on his not to recklessly violate citizen's rights. Not all cops are bad but, the bad ones really have the ability to tarnish the entire bunch. Idiots run wild and the decent officers typical move on to something that pays better.

After looking around the entire vehicle from the exterior he told me that he pulled me over for the vehicle matching the description of one involved in a crime in the area within the last 30 minutes. Once he determined that I was not the suspect and the vehicle was cleared he suddenly say I had a single license illumination bulb burnt out and decided to site me for that. Very few people see their own license illumination lights because usually when they are on the person is driving rather than standing behind the vehicle. Sometimes I think COPs can't just stop someone then let them go when there is no issue. Yes my light being out is in violation and yes he was legally allowed to write me up for it. @@1981bevo i didnt say he tore anything apart, nor should he have to. even if he had been cited for such a thing it does not make it legal. a cop can quite literally accuse you and cite you for any crime they so please, and like you said in the end its up to the judge, but it doesnt make it legal. I said finish the video because as explained "an individual operating or travelling in an automobile does not lose all expectation of privacy simply because the automobile and its use are subject to government regulation".

If stopping someone for sole reason to check if they have driver's license is not permitted, it means that in theory you don't need a driver's license unless you plan to commit traffic infraction.
