Rocket Queen is hands-down their BEST song. Its the last song on a whole album of awesome songs! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING from their first album, 'Appetite For Destruction'. It is one of the best rock albums of ALL TIME. (seriously!) If you want to hear an acoustic rocker, try "Used To Love Her" from their second album 'G N' R Lies'

Obviously the infighting and members being sacked or leaving tainted the bands success. But now they are back in some ways playing again is a start.

You cannot overstate how huge this band was in the late eighties and early nineties. They were the biggest band on the planet. Oh and what is Axl on? Not as much as you might think. He did take drugs and did have an overdose in 1986 but that was more of a cry for help suicide attempt than a product of excessive drug use. Compared to his contemporaries like Aerosmith and Motley Crue his drug use was pretty restrained.

You haven't seen this side of this band, but this is their debut, this is how they came on the scene, this is who they were originally, one of the greatest debuts not just of Rock History, but music in general.

He gets off the bus and enters big city.. “the jungle..” the “concrete jungle.” And boy oh boy.. 2020 is certainly a prime example of that!! Wonderful, cult classic jam! Great reaction Jay! 💜🧡✌️✨

This song was featured in a Clint Eastwood movie, "The Deadpool". Where a young Jim Carrey played a drug addicted rock star, shooting a video for this song. I believe the character was "Johnny Squares". Spoiler alert he dies:)

I saw that movie at the theaters. I didn’t know who that was at the time this was before In Living Color. I thought he was just some nobody 😂😂 He was doped up and got killed. I just remembered badass Clint.

Axl's voice sounds like a guitar and Slash's guitar sounds like a voice. Love it.

Best opening track on a debut album, ever. Blew my tiny mind when I heard it in 86. It's angry and filthy and amazing. It's about Hollywood. Axl swears when he got off the bus an old homeless dude came up to him and said those words: "welcome to the jungle".

I remember seeing them back when they first came out promoting Appetite for Destruction(on my top ten best albums list) they opened up for Motley Crue(that`s who I was going for) well they came out brand new with this killer sound and ending up blowing Motley Crue off the stage..everyone instantly loved them and from that day on I did too.

I can't imagine how incredible it much have been to see them -- I really regret missing GnR back in the day! I was mainly into punk/post-punk/etc. and although I really loved this album, I didn't consider it part of my "scene," and so I never saw them. Definitely learned my lesson about sticking too closely to categories like that.

Loved guns n roses growing. Watching people react to them for the first time is cool but everytime I hear this song all I think about is growing up in ohio and going to Cincinnati bengals football games and this song being played.

@@JayveeTV The truth is, when these guys were off, they were a dumpster fire, but when they were on, they'd melt your face off for 3 hours. They rarely had anything in between. Part of the excitement was not knowing which you'd get.

This is the song that introduced GnR to the world, and is also the song that made me a fan of rock n roll as a kid. It was really fun to see someone experience it for the first time as it is woven very deep into the fabric of my being. Still to this day GnR is my go to band when im driving around in my favorite car just enjoyin life.

I had a workplace where every day I walked in there I heard “welcome to the jungle” belting in my ears, got my game face on and got on with my ... HR job!

The one and only song of theirs that I really enjoy listening to. This (it may be more instrumental) is used in the movies Lean On Me and the last Dirty Harry movie.

Sweet child is kind of like their ballad with a touch of this style. Patience is classic, different because it's acoustic guitars, but great vocal and lyrics. November Rain is basically a masterpiece, maybe like the closest Guns N Roses got to a Bohemian Rhapsody. It is a long song, but uses strings and even an orchestra in it. But you gotta do Don't Cry first then November Rain, it's part if a story.

Guns n roses came out,when I was a teenager. Loved them then and I still love them now. They're like nothing I had ever heard before. Especially in the 80s. It was mostly heavy metal,hair bands,etc. They have always had a sound of their own. Lovin slash. Luv your reaction.

1980s los angels the jungle gun & roses one of my favorite band keep the good music alive brother

I was a Sr in 93. We had to decorate the senior hall and it was our choice. We had a competition against the juniors for best decoration. We did this every year to exit the Seniors and usher the juniors into their sr year. We decorated our hall in a jungle theme. We had all types of trees, vines, sand, even had a small swimming pool of water w fake snakes the whole jungle scene. We had jungle sounds playing through one stereo at the beginning of the hallway and we turned off all the lights and had only strobe lights placed all the way down the hall. We blasted “welcome to the jungle” as our sr song. So as you entered you had to go through a thick layer of hanging vines and you could hear the jungle sounds and a bit of this song but as you got closer to the center and the end it’s all you could hear. We had the best time doing this. It took a whole week and we were to be judged on Friday night after our last home football game. Then to the dance. It was so good that some teachers didn’t want to walk through the hallway. The seniors won the challenge that year. It’s a great memory of high school and every time I hear this song it takes me back to my sr year.

Axel wrote this song to Slash because he didn't want him doing drugs. Slash was ticked off but did the song.

He's singing about the city..the jungle...he got off the bus from the midwest and right into the streets of Hollywood! Concrete Jungle lots of drugs..crime..that he or they experienced baybee!! Fun fact, i've seen alot, i mean ALOT of reactions videos on this song, EVERYONE got the same chills beging for some air and time to make our brain slowing down. ^^

GNR's first album is pretty awesome. Several hits, just perfect composition. 👍🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 "Welcome to the Jungle" was their debut song off the album, and it was showcased in the Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood) movie that came out at the time.

When I hear this song I think of the movie "Lean on Me'. When the High School turns from nice to Hell... Fantastic song!

This was also played in the 80s movie Lean on Me, about a wild, chaotic, drug-infested school
