@@helgeolsen9727nothing new? A fill made famous by the drummer from prog metal legends Dream Theatre with double kick alternating with a tom progression… while singing lead vocal. I’m wondering who else does that in major rock bands. I personally haven’t seen it anywhere, ever, until this song.

Disciple is not only a great song, it shows off the band's qualities, making it a quick introduction to The Warning.

i would highly recommend their song "23" live at this same show. Pau sings lead the entire song and this one will blow your socks off! Pau really showcases how beautiful her voice really is. as always, thank you for another great reaction my friend. peace!

Pau and Dany amazing here. But Ale's bass line just smokes. That's the secret weapon of this song.

Ale turned 19. Do some of their Interviews to understand them better. Like Tidal rising and/or Mayday in the making. And do the TedX Talk girls love to rock.

You can never go wrong with The Warning! All of the songs from this concert are absolute bangers! Awesome reaction!

IMHO, this is one of the best live concert series ever recorded. They keep honing their craft and building a support team of true professionals! This very special concert series SOLD OUT both the Monday night and the Wednesday night performances at the 3165-seat Teatro Metropolitan (the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City). It's an Art Deco era theater that opened in 1943. It's one of the most important theaters in Mexico. Fans who saw that concert are still in awe. Watch it all. That said, ALL their album materials are great. The live concerts linked FROM THEIR SITE are also excellent. Many folks believe their best work is performing live, and that their albums are reference materials to be collected.

One of the most important bands out there.

I wish they had video crew or fan had a zoom on Pau a bit more while singing. What a powerful vocal performance by Commander Pau! Love how Dany stalks the stage with her wild eyes like she's a velociraptor about to leap into the crowd!!! Then, how Dany and Ale stroll up to the mics like two rock gunslingers. Really value your reactions and your perspectives- many thanks for a great channel! Thank you for what you do for your community, as well. We are all on this big spinning rock together.

Nice Reaction! They recently celebrated 10 yrs. as a band which put Ale at 8 years old (she just turned 19). I know you're a guitar player, so you might like to watch a video that came out about 2 weeks ago where Dany talks about her guitars and sound board. It's "The Warning's Dany Villareal Gear Masters" Their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene, came out in 2018 and it is a concept album. You have already done one song from it (Dust to Dust), but they played the whole album from start to finish and they recorded it (so good sound) at a place in Mexico City (CDMX) called Lunario. Very good songs and remember, Ale is only 13 when they played at Lunario.

You need to check out “Error” if u haven’t already. Interesting video, and great song. About A.I. Has a chant in it if binary code. Rhythmic with the timing of the song. It spells “free”. Brilliant! 🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘

The Lunario show play through of Queen Of The Murder Scene concept album is my recommendation

You want some more Pau vocals, and a different show as well, give a watch of their song Narcisista - Live at Foro Didi in Monterrey, written and sung by Pau in 2019. The band's critics had been accusing the girls of being cultural traitors, because they only wrote their lyrics in English. A then 17-year old Pau wrote the band's first song in Spanish in response, and in defense of herself and her sisters. Rather than wait to include the song on their next album, they recorded it immediately and released it as a standalone single. They debuted the song in their hometown and recorded and posted the show. Pau delivers a stunning performance, singing with strong conviction, with her lyrics projected on a screen behind her to make sure that her message to those critics was clear. Pau is fearless, and the song and performance are a highwater mark for the band for me. The Teatro version is worth a watch as well, but the song's debut is something very special.

This is a damn good song, but you'll discover they just don't miss. Some are better that others, but no bad songs, none IMHO, subscribed.

As for other Pau-led songs check out 23, and Revenant from Teatro. And definitely check out Dust To Dust - Live at Lunario. D2D is the opening track to their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, and in 2018 they played the whole album live at Lunario with Pau opening the show.

The visuals in the background are from the official music video for the song, which you should also check out. Obviously you don't have to react to it, but it is a great music video. They have a knack for those. The one song that I would recommend you check out the music video for is XXI Century Blood. It was the title track from their first album, and the first official music video they did. It was crowd funded, and won awards.

Neat reaction, great song. Neat switching vocals between Pau and Dany. I hadn't heard that their father was a sound engineer, makes sense I suppose. However I think the real support they got from their parents, their Mum's a dentist btw, was self-discipline and a solid work ethic. And FYI, Ale is now 19.

He was a civil engineer who picked up audio as a sideline. Their mom is a dentist. Lalo is their go to audio guy.

I don’t think TW is even close to reaching their peak awesomeness yet. By their own admission they still have a lot to explore in their sound and more to learn musically. They are like musical sponges and soak up ideas from various genres. While they seem content at the moment letting Pau be the “creative muscle” for the band they have reached out to other songwriters and are very open to collaboration with other’s outside of their inner circle. You basically “Evolve” or you die. Pau said in an interview that they have enough stuff written already for a TW4 and likely TW5. I bet that they reserve the option to use all of it, some of it or none of it and write all “new” stuff. I would love to get a look at Pau’s Cloud storage. By this point she likely has hundreds if not thousands of song ideas, melodies, lyrics and miscellaneous floating around in there. During her masterclass at Soundcheck Xpo in 2022 she said she had something like 768 voice memos alone on her phone concerning various song ideas. I think her biggest fear is losing her phone or laptop without having everything backed up…lol.

You can never go wrong with a reaction of the The Warning cover or original. Do a reaction of Foo Fighter's The Prentender. It's a good one, early TW. Or Hysteria from their live concert at Liceo. Ale was like 11y old.... and killing it

Another good young band to check out is Liliac. Ages 16-24. They just released a cover of Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath that is really good.

Their covers are a part of their journey, and at such young ages, the covers showcases their accuracy. But, regardless, even if you decide to go the anti-cover route, don't neglect their epic covers like their 2014 Enter Sandman video that launched their careers via KZread, their Foo Fighter's Pretender (Out of the basement) video, Thier Muse cover of Hysteria at Liceo that showcases young Ale's bass prowess at just 10 years old, and their epic Atals Rise cover the Whiskey A-Go-Go! Missing these covers would be like missing John Lennon cover Twist and Shout at the Royal Albert Hall, and who would want to do that ?!

Sick and Hell you Call a Dream are awesome. But it's probably best he wait for an official release. As cellphone camera quality isn't ideal for sound.

Music is a very personal and individual experience. For me, Disciple is a perfect song. Dany's riffs, Pau's and Ale's rhythm section, lyrics that are on point, and Dany and Pau sharing lead vocals while playing their parts of influencer and disciple all make this song such a powerful listening experience. A little guilty pleasure...I love that little count down 2-3-GO! Gets me pumped every time.

*Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... Dany sings the part of the "leader"... Pau sings the part of a "follower" or "disciple"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear... *XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three others that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
