Guitar Masters 2016 - Marcin Patrzałek /// CLASSICAL GUITAR / ROUND I

VOTE for your favourite musician participating in Guitar Masters 2016! The guitarist who collects the biggest amount of "THUMBS UP" by 30.08.2016 will win a guaranteed spot in Round II - Live auditions in Wrocław, Poland. || More info www.guitarmasters.pl || Let’s meet Marcin: "My name is Marcin Patrzałek and I’m 16. I started my guitar education being a 10-year-old-boy. I started with classical guitar which I'm still faithful to.
I have taken part in a number of classical competitions - many completed with succeses. My last performance was on Joaquin Rodrigo Guitar Festival in June this year - where I won my category (up to 18 yr old)
Classical guitar is not the only guitar style I practice, flamenco music is another one, (which in fact it is also classical music).
Please see the movie with me playing flamenco
vimeo.com/174649853
I hope I will meet the requirements and will be promoted to the next stage of Guitar Masters competition."

This must be back in his early days when he needed to look at his fingers. Still an awesome talent but when he moves around while playing he seems almost supernatural, as he does by the time he gets to AGT.

How old are they? Because here is a teenager who is participating. Now, in his latest performances, from 2020 to 23, his growth is noticeable. Además tiene composiciones propias bellísimas, me encantan Paper Thin Sky, For the Sleep, Storm entre otras. Excuse me, the translation failed, I hope you can translate it. From Chile with appreciation ☺️💖🇨🇱

I've watched more videos of Marcin and I'm quite impressed with his playing. Marcin certainly does have very excellent guitar skills. His interpretations are crowd pleasing and inventive. However, I'm primarily a classical guitarist and haven't seen enough of his classical guitar repertoire to assess his classical guitar virtuosity. A classical guitarist needs to play scales cleanly with musicality which is different from loud and fast. Also, I could not find a slow classical guitar piece that demonstrated his ability to interpret a slow melodic piece that required emotive control of the phrases. @@annerink4327

Too fast. Not knower of the music. It is only my feeling. The proper accents /I would say so/ in this too fast performance are by my opinion lost.
