Joshua was probably so hard to recognize as german cause he was speaking with a dialect accent. In Germany, a dialect can be very different, with different words and even sentence structures. But there's also a way to speak standard german tinted with a dialect pronounciation. For example Joshua was pronouncing the letters 'a' like it was half an 'o' and a very soft, nearly silent 'r'. While in the southern regions, be it Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg (in the later, every village has its own dialect tbh, plus broader regional dialect patterns) you would roll the 'r' much more like the french.

He definately speaks standard German with no accent/dialect at all, but it's right... he does sound different, but that's because he tries to speak with a very slow and deep voice and it sounds a little weird/unnatural. If I didn't understand German I would have guessed he speaks Norwegian or something XD
India and Indonesia have too many languages
Amazing channel 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 but add more challenge to your channel 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That waht i don't expect from India 🥲
Finnish is not even in the same language family as German, so why would they think this German man would be Finnish? Obviously, his accent was one of the Germanic languages, even if not standard German, and Finnish sounded very different from any Indo-European language.

And ironically he does speak in a very standard/neutral German accent, using very standard words that one would learn in textbooks. 😂

I honestly feel as if most people especially from the US don't know what german actually sounds like if the words are not screamed in a hitler-esque way

@@caroskaffee3052 Germany is a developed country, and even without Hitler, German has the opportunity to be understood by foreigners. Only countries that are economically ordinary or even backward, and are world-renowned for their lack of other historical factors, will be ignored by people. For example, all Southeast Asian countries except Thailand and Vietnam. On the contrary, China used to be very poor, but due to its famous ancient civilization, one of the four origins of civilizations in Eurasia, and culturally influential regions such as Hong Kong and Taiwan, even if it was once very poor, Chinese would still be understood by people, and the same as India.

Hi andrea love you
Wpuld be great if they didn’t show the faces so that they can only focus on the language itself haha
They were asking to that Indian girl about her country not her state also she should have told the most famous nonalcoholic drink of India is Chai she can't tell her favourite as for India also majority of Indian women wear saree I don't get your point
What are these maps!? That’s so weird!
Paaralan is used in academics but for casual thing it is eskwelahan. The Filipino representative does not know better on presenting its own language.
Andrea is my favorite. 😍
