Yeah they are yuck. Very smart commercialism. In today’s world people are working billboards. I never thought people would be proud to stand in a room and someone can add up how much your clothes, shoes, bag and belts are. I think that’s yuck

It’s not made in the for-show factories it’s made in sweatshops they directly hire to make bags for less than €100 so the labor is sweated labor. Don’t buy designer goods.

Watching them hand stitch and paint those bags was truly amazing! I would only have an issue for mass produced goods all by machine that charged high prices for simply the brand name itself. And I’ve heard Gucci also do this with some of their lines and send to China. Although China does have very high end manufacturing it’s mainly all machine.

Tell them to show you the sweatshops owned by Chinese contractors working for Gucci. Where you think they had the sudden surge of the virus couple of years back?!

A lot of designer brands (including Gucci) send some of their lines of clothing to China to be produced. Although China does have very high end production (it’s not all $10 shirts) they are mass produced by machines. I know a number of high end designer brands like Versace send some of their trainers to China. Now it’s good quality from what I understand..but not hand made.

I like this guy.++ ....let me check what I can get :)

Gucci is one of those "look what I can afford, even if it's not really worth it" brands. Who really needs or likes a Bentley?
