The amount of conversation this game still generates almost 20 years since its release speaks volumes about how good and well detailed it was/is. A true masterpiece of a game.

not small, and not too big. just perfect in every aspect. Yea you can make 10000 acti ities, but after certain number you lose interest. And San andries is just perfect in that way, there is limited things to do, but at the same time, there is so much to do. without loosing interest in it.

The 2 player feature is what sold me on buying San Andreas. My sister and I would always play 2 player and we put in a crap ton of cheat codes in. I remember too that she would always pick “the girl” character. Now that I’m older I laugh at the fact she always picked the stripper character.

I hated it when I was running with my cousin from the police after getting our car blown and as we were shoting we got too close to each other and for some reason the shot button was the kiss button too... so in the middle of the gunfire we would ve kissing each other "Get away from me! Dude!" and one time I just didi it to annoy him XD

7:53 Actually, you can do burglary missions since the beginning of the game. The Home Invasion mission just tells you that this exist in the game and teach you how this works, but you can do burglary missions in any moment of the story

The Dreamcast had a modem, and you could get a broadband upgrade for it, but it's online was pretty limited. The SNES and Megadrive also had expensive, rare and very limited "online" modules that only worked at certain times / places. In Japan there were carts with games that had a space for a "DLC", but you had to buy a extra part to store the DLC on.

For the people who don't like the burglary missions and still want to do it for the 'infinite sprint/stamina' reward, you can do it in one night (so give or take 8 min). Just go to the area of Ceasar's house in LS, behind that you have the small houses, the ones next to the railway. Usually, there are two houses next to each other where you can park the van in between. Now just run into the houses and grab the closest item. You don't have to sneak, it takes around 6 sec to grab a tv and run out and the police will only come after 10 sec. When you have taken two items out of the living room go into the other (opposite) house and do the same. Going into a house resets the houses you've already visited, meaning you can just run back and forth. Using this strat you can earn 10k-20k in one night, completing the burglary mission in one go. This works in other places as well, I just found that this area has the highest chance of having houses close to each other.

My tips for the game 1. Collecting hidden packages and the reason why is because you get weapons outside of your main safe houses in los santos (ganton), San fiero (Doherty) and Las venturas in the dragons casino and they can help you stock on ammo if you're low and each set of collections are different depending on which city you're in. For example in los santos you have to spray 100 spray tags to get the more gangster weapons, for san fiero you have to take all 50 snap shots which can give you medium weapons and for las venturas you have to find all horse shoes you get advanced weapons and you get a higher chance of getting better bets in casinos. 2. Taking over other gang territories, this is a must after completing the mission where you and sweet take over gang territories because it's required for the last mission but also it makes it safe for you to drive around los santos without any hassle or trouble and you won't have to worry about gangs going after your territories after you own all territories. 3. Completing side missions like the vigilante, fire fighter and paramedic is also helpful because they give you special abilities which they can be very useful in specific missions for example once you complete fire fighter you become fire proof meaning you don't die when you get burned. 2. Changing a piece of clothing can remove your wanted level quickly if you don't feel like driving to pay in spray just drive to any clothing store and remove an accessory if you have them and your wanted level will automatically be flashing and eventually get removed 1. If you customize a vehicle then take it to a mission and it disappears its not gone forever its because the game teleports it to the car impound I tested it and it worked most of the time so if you leave it somewhere and come back to the exact location in any city you'll find it in the car impound.

The default style is overpowered. First one is punch and the second attack kicks the opponent to the ground. Then you can stomp the trainer to death

The Burglary mission/side activity is defintely one of the neatest parts of GTA SA, given you could access practically most random houses around each city and explore quite a range of different interiors, which in itself made the game/world feel a lot larger, as well as being able to interact with and physically pick up a whole bunch of objects from around each house interior too🤯 I remember the 2-player points too, between having played with a friend on his PS2 and I think on my original Xbox version of GTA SA too, which was always pretty fun to play around with!😂👍

I played this game so much in my childhood that I thought it's common knowledge to know these things

Something I noticed with the burglary missions is that after you enter a home and steal the items, you can enter another home and then leave and go back to the first house and the items will respawn. This makes it easy to get a lot of stuff especially when you're in Los Santos and a lot of times people are awake when you enter their house.

For PC, the fighting style combos can be executed by pressing "F" key. You need to have atleast 35% (350) muscle mass to learn new moves. The fighting styles are Boxing (Ganton, LS), Kung Fu (Garcia, SF), and Muay Thai or Kickboxing (Redsands East, LV). Learning all fighting moves are required for 100% completion of the game.

It takes me back Friday night with a few friends playing two playing who ever dies passes the controller

0:50 you see this really bothers me how this was never added to GTA 5 considering that the game is in San Andreas and the only city they added was Los Santos. If they were to do a Map Expansion where they finally add Las Ventures and San Fierro in the Expanded and Enhanced version of GTA 5 thats coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X they need to bring back the fast travel airport feature.

I didn’t realise you could give one of your gang members the camera to take a picture of you. If you steal a certain total value of stuff during burglary you unlock infinite sprint.

Bro i just got back into gta a couple weeks ago and while trying to do the casino heist my first time I had to look up some tutorial on KZread and that got me to find your channel and now I’m straight up just binging your channel😂 you got some really good, truthful and genuine tips and I just love the energy bro you a good dude keep it up!

You can do the burglary mission from the start. I always do it before starting the main mission, since you get infinite stamina after robbing 10k And a little tip, around the apartment where you get the truck in LS, go to the other block with 2 yellow markers infront of each other. That way, after breaking into a house and stealing 1 stuff, immediately go to the other house and steal 1 more stuff. This will make the first house that you break in respawn the stuff you stole. Now go back to the first house and repeat. Now, since the apartments is pretty small, after picking up an item, just run to the door like Pro said. Keep bouncing between these 2 apartments and you'll get a lot of items. And dont worry about the time limit. Just steal as much as you want and when the time is over, the game will give you more time to stash the stuff you stole.

If you want to get technical, there are five fighting styles. The standard LMB one which cannot be replaced, the three from the gyms, and the one CJ has as the default 'Enter/Return' combo. Once you learn a gym combo, it cannot be equiped again without mod tools. It's informally known as the 'Liberty Combo' (as CJ was in Liberty before the game) and is surprisingly useful in the early game. It consists only of a heavy right hook and heavy right kick. The kick is guaranteed to temporarily knockdown any ped, allowing you to run away. Very useful if you have a 1 star wanted level and need to put some distance between you and a pursuing cop!

In Mexico was common to play San Andreas in arcades, and somehow my cousins and I knew of the 2 player mode. Pretty sure that the arcade was pirated because it normally used Xbox controllers.

i remember finding the marker near your garage you own and luckily i had a madcats ps2 controller plugged into the second port,so my sister and me were playing with a shitload of cheats. i also like that you can change the 2nd players character at the san fiero location, so my sister would always be a random ped chick or a balla

The infinite sprint reward from the burglary missions is pretty useful for triathlons, and if you played the "remastered" version, the effects is more noticeable, since the swimming movements are quite buggy and slow in this version.

I will say this. You made me want to play San Andreas again which I appreciate even though I platinumed it already and have beaten it several times. I must say I never knew about being able to owe debt to the casino's and having goons chase you down. When I was a kid I used the money cheat and as a teenager and adult I exploit the game in off track betting and russian roulette by save scumming. Good content man. The two player thing was always interesting. Was only on PS2 which is odd and it always felt like something that was added late and never really used to its fullest potential - it's fun but limited. It almost feels like a feature that probably was considered for removal but somehow survived.

I have the Xbox version of the game, and it also allows you to play with two players.

Funny to me, these are some of the features that were most remembered, because at the time were announced and most written about on the previews of the magazines I used to buy, because also at the time were some of the most succesfull features to sell your game. One magazine had like a 9-10 months preview and every month would give us a bit of new things about SA: One month they would talk about using the airport, other month about the 2P mode, other month about the different fighting styles, and so on. And now feels like time has forgotten them and you had to put them to light again. Is funny how that works, and makes me feel so old lmao.

In the robbery mission, if I'm not mistaken, there is a house in San Fierro where you can steal the same items indefinitely, without needing to find other houses. It happened to me once and since then, I only go to that house and complete the theft challenge very quickly and I made good money. I don't know if it was a bug or it always happens, I don't remember, I haven't played SA in a long time.

I remember playing SA with a friend. Sometimes we would make CJ kiss the fireman character, shit was funny. Lol

@@kingdiamond775 it is on Xbox 360, I used to play it with my dad and my friends when i was a kid. But you have to actually be on the Xbox 360 console to play it cause the Xbox One version took it out I think since it uses the 10 year anniversary remaster and there’s no way to revert back to the original non-remastered version

I knew almost all of these apart from the fast travel and the debt hitmen. I kinda like the fact that they don't explain these things right away, makes the game more interesting whenever you happen to run into this (except for the multiplayer, they should have made it clear that you can do it, maybe with side missions)

Damn couldn't imagine not knowing about 2 players. I remember doing the headless CJ glitch with it. Nice attention to detail is CJ won't speak without his head lol.

If you go to the 2 houses at the end of the street by the Lowrider garage, you can run back and forth between the houses, just grabbing TVs, and get 40-50,000 in a night.

About 5 years ago I tasked myself with getting 100%. Never did growing up. The one thing I didnt know about was the photo ops. I used the original ps2 guide for help, but I eventually got it. It was quite an accomplishment getting 100% Took 82 hours, but I didnt speed run it. Just took my time and numerous retry on missions.

Interesting. I played this game so much back in the day that I knew about all of these except the hitmen. I never lost that much money gambling. I guess me in game is real similar to my actual mentality, I only take a couple hundred when I go to the casinos, if I lose it I'm done Haha. I guess there is technically a second I didnt know about... the burglary missions. I didnt know there was 3. I only ever found 2 Vans. Still, great video man! Several of these I had completely forgotten about.

11:36 damn I remember this feature so much. back then, I was watching my brother was playing this game on the PS2 and suddenly he found this red thingy at Los Santos, and then suddenly we can play multiplayer, we were so happy at that time.

For the 2-player feature, it's also available on the original Xbox version, just pointin' it out here since most people never knew about it, plus you get the same 2-player features you do in the PS2 port like playing Pool with a second player.

@@scoundrel8440 Yes, I am implying the "PS2 Classics" emulated version for PS4/5 and even PS3 as not to be confused with GSG's "10th Anniversary" PS3 port (which does have the 2-player feature, while their Xbox 360 doesn't). So if you still think I'm stupid, then be my guest, lol.

@@M0rinkashi Thanks for explaining, the PS2 Classics version is the best version of the game if you don't have a PC, as well as the Xbox Originals version which was sadly removed from the store in place of the crappy GSG remasters, yes, both 10th Anniversary and Definitive Edition.

​@@scoundrel8440 Thank you, I would also like to inform you that you probably can still buy the original game digitally since it was re-added back in December 2021. Even if they didn't re-add the game digitally, you still would've been able to get the game physically anyway.

You can actually do the burglary missions before the Ryder mission I believe. It’s just that before the Ryder mission the player likely isn’t aware that burglaries are possible

I have the game for the original xbox and the two player coop is available in the spot that you mentioned in the video at the buildings in the middle surrounded by fences in idlewood, me and my siblings used to go there and just run around causing havok for fun while also pressing the kiss button to be silly, we did all of that when we were younger but we don't really do that anymore tbh. Still a fun game though! I don't think online can be done through xbox but I am not sure myself either.

I totally forgot about the two player mode. Bought this game the day it came out in 04 and to this day still feel it's the greatest ever. Honorable mention to Rome Total War, the mods probably have more replay value but as a one time play through nothing beats this game.

It exists on the PS2 and Xbox versions of the game.

Supposedly when in debt, hitting a unique jump stunt will clear it. Provided you haven't done that jump beforehand. I've deliberately gotten myself in debt, then made a little cash, and gambles my way back into the black. Blackjack in the game was a pretty easy way to win it all back.

I didn’t know about most of these things so I’m happy you made this video. The two player function I remember finding my accident. Does Grand Theft Auto 5 have any of this?
