It is impossible to open a plane door from the inside yet alone the outside of an aircraft when it's in the air as planes are pressurised to ensure it's impossible for anybody to open the door during flight. And jumping onto the plane and managing to open the door without dying is a whole new level

GTA V honestly did get very diverse missions. But it was a bit too lighthearted for my taste, without having the sense of humor found in the 3D era or Saints Row (which has very repetitive missions).

This was me and my boys on the weekends, except we always ended up softlocking the game because of all of the cheats we would put in. The furthest we got back then was "555 We Tip" and then the game softlocked right at the end of the mission, that was the first time I felt heartache.

I think Toreno uses the San Fierro Airport and Dock to smuggle in the drugs. He's there to pickup the shipment when he gets ambushed by the Da Nang Boys. They had probably finished loading the drugs into the van when they were ambushed and the DNB just highjack the van. If you think about it, all the Loco Syndicate missions involving drugs and rival gangs take place near the Dock/Airport area.

The mission you're talking about "Photo Opportunity" was completely changed sometime before the final game was released. In the original version CJ was supposed to steal a helicopter to meet Ceaser and then take pictures of the meeting from the air. I'm guessing CJ and Ceaser would've flown back together once the mission was over. A little fun fact is that the dialogue was never changed and that's why CJ and Ceaser yell at each other when they're on the rooftop taking photos.

I think the jet you took on the "Freefall" mission is the one CJ used to go back in Liberty City for the "Saint Mark's Bistro".

3:47 Depends on the altitude. If they were flying at something like let's say, 30000 feet, the pressure on the door would be so high that it's impossible to open.

In every game, Hoover Dam has plot armor.

In GTAV Online, Lester mentions how crazy it is to rob the govt/military to get equipment to rob the casino. I'm pretty sure these are all movie references that made just as little sense in the movie plot as well.

"I don't even know if you can open a door midair... someone tell me if you can" I personally have jumped out of a moving plane midair and done this, so I can confirm that this is possible.

After going through the heist missions twice recently, I'm starting to think it's just a full on satire of the whole complicated planning of heists in media in general. Not sure if it's the case but it's just my hunch. Heck in the first mission of the heist, paraphrasing here, CJ said a "secret" room like the janator's living space has the feel of actually planning a heist when he could have done it in Woozie's office.

If youre referring to opening the doors midair on the dodo, it is possible. I flew a Cessna 172 for a while (very similar to the dodo). While in flight training, the instructor co-pilots would open the door to scare the shit out of newbie pilots to test their panic response. Overall, the open door doesnt change anything drastically in terms of aerodynamics, just a lot of noise from wind and possible dust. It usually doesn't open more than a few inches but it can be forced open more if done intentionally

I honestly think that the casino heist prep missions had more content in the beta stages of gta sa but because it was cut out now we have this nonsensical dialogue

Supply lines make no sense if that was me deciding what to do I'd hunt down Berkeley and cap him

actually, in the mission that you meet Toreno for the first time, sometimes the cars spawn at the end of the runway, sometimes near the hangars at the other end of the airport. i belive it's random.

Lol, it's funny to look back at these missions and think about it. I'm 28 and beat GTA SA when I was 12-15 around 4+ times. Didn't think about how much sense missions made since technically none of it makes sense, but yeah, you could make this into a series of some sort. I can't think of any Los Santos / Grove St missions that didn't make sense though.. besides having to kill tons of ballas and whatnot, it seems normal for some real gangs lol, some crazy shit like robbing guns instead of buying em, but it's still fun and just a game.

CJ: Woozi look after these fools! Woozi: How? I'm blind.

I remember at the start of the mission 'up, up & away' you could go to the part of the desert where you do missions for Toreno & take the jetpack to fly over the army compound & land close to the sky crane. You still have to fight some army soldiers & destroy army choppers but the mission is made a little easier.

@@robertmcginty4146 There is also a mission in GTA Vice City called 'Cop Land' that I found very difficult. Until I realised that I could use a helicopter for the mission. Lance won't follow you to the mansion roof where the helicopter is but you can land it & collect him. If you land the helicopter near an entrance to the north point mall you can then run to it with Lance & fly over the cops when you gain the wanted rating. You then just have to land outside the mansion & run inside to complete the mission.

Imagine talking about the realism about a game that includes a jetpack which you steal from area 51.

If you concentrate on what sweet says in los sepulcros he says that you killed little weazel (doberman mission ) with big smoke but that never happened

3:49 wouldn't it make more sense just to blow up the plane? Also I think white is the only color the limo can come in, (unless affected by cheat code or script) despite supporting 2 tone paint. I like how CJ steals a Jet shoots other military jets steals a plane midair steals a jetpack from area 51 does a lot of other shi just to break Sweet out and when he gets out he says that CJ is selfish and that he only did things for himself and CJ just shuts up

In Up, Up, and Away, I just drove to the airport, got a dodo, and para-dropped right onto the Military Depot's helipad. But even so, the missions seemed like they lost the whole point of CJ's character towards the end. In Los Santos, he's a gang banger. In San Fierro, he's a gang banger. Then in Las Ventura's, he's suddenly an action hero. Then in Los Santos, he's right back to his little gang things.

" I know u blind man, but you gotta see this!" xD had to put that in there... Anyway, let's overthink some of these things, shall we: 1. For the bikes there is a logical explanation. During one day there can be many reasons for why you wouldn't find many cop bikes around Las Venturas. Few as they are, search enough and you should find one. In this case they were 4 out in the field. Now, how does CJ know exactly where these rare bikes are? Zero might've managed tracked them down for him. As for the bikes in your garage... That behavior is just too off course. I am willing to bed that absolutely no one had 4 cop bikes in their garage when they went through the game for the first time. Let's say some had a cop bike or two. What are the chance for these bikes to be in Last Venturas? CJ is not supposed to have 4 lucky bikes saved somewhere just for this heist. 2. For the String Quartet, I could see that propeller plane catching up to a jet engine. You have to remember that during the mission you absolutely have to go higher than the plane so you can drop. Doing a simple U-turn at the same altitude wouldn't be enough, because as stated, the plane isn't capable of reaching those speeds. You'll fail the mission. But add the high drop, and you can barely catch up to the jet engine right before they get too close. Now some may ask "but why is that jet engine plane slow enough to be caught up?". The answer is simple: They reduced their speed in order to prepare for landing. 3. Can't say much there. I could find even more things that don't make sense in that mission. Let's just leave it how it is. 4. For The Toreno one, they might've planned a kidnap by airplane. That would make sense for why they would be there at the time... 5. That facility could be having sensors at the gate for when someone comes in or out. Most facilities would have precautions thrown in every direction, except for... up up and away...

Also worth noting when CJ dives into the dam water he would have been sucked to the bottom by the turbines. Only one person has ever survived swimming across Hoover dam and that was only because 9 of its 10 turbines were switched off at the time.

You cant open a planed door in air because the air pressure is not the same in the cabin and out side and it makes a it so you can’t open the door

Another thing to point out in the Mike Toreno mission: When the wanted level clears, Toreno will ask who CJ is and tells T Bone to get his wallet. But if T Bone is sitting in the back of the limo, how does he get the wallet?

Hey remember when everyone complained in Ride to Hell Retribution on how crazy it was for Johnny to steal an eighteen wheeler, drive it to a dam, blow up the generators just to disable an electric fence? Sounds tamed compared to what CJ did just for a casino heist.

That's because it is tame by comparison, and what's even more crazy is that the Heist missions were actually meant to be longer so there was more than likely more nonsense in-between. But ultimately Ride to Hell Retribution was a shit game with absolutely no redeeming factors while GTA SA is way ahead of its time and still praised to this day so no one will even bother complaining about the obviously poor mission structure in some of these missions, while in a game like Ride to Hell its more noticeable because of how shit the game was.

Speeking of the Dam mission, you can jump off that hieght without hurting yourself in real life if you jump the right way, in lebanon we have al Rawche rock, it is higher than the Dam and people jump off it, it is a routine for swimmers in here😅

The state of San Andreas is known for random plane crashes, so people would just assume it was one of those and pay it no mind. As for flying the plane with the Forelli hitmen, it was proof for Salvatore and to help CJ sell the deception

their heist plan was so damn well planned (I'm joking ofc) that the actual heist mission is easier than any of those planning missions :D

CJ's hypocrisy is another ridiculous thing in the story. He back stabs numerous people throughout the story but bitches when smoke and ryder back stab him. At least Smoke and Ryder didn't try to kill him like he does with Jizzy and T bone and Toreno.

The bike thing. If that was gta 5 it would’ve worked like the final heist if you pick the subtle way you have to steal 3 cars (gauntlet)and lester text you the location. You can actually use any gauntlet without getting the actual ones Lester tells you about. And it’s better and less time consuming
