    I was always wanted to try this method since I saw it on the Aquarium plant lab channel but I never got my hands on that propagator with the plastic dome. Good to see it worked for you, maybe I'll try it too one day

    It’s been a good little setup! I wanted to experiment with growing moss terrestrial, buddy of mine showed me how he used these domes and figured I’d give it a shot. Shortly after I got the dome setup I found aquarium plant labs channel. He’s got some cool setups. I want to try a few of them out and see how they do!

    Can any moss acclimate to being in water or does it have to be an aquatic variety?

  • @PoseidonsPets

    @PoseidonsPets

    5 ай бұрын

    Depends on the type of moss, some moss may be more adaptable to terrestrial life so they would require more CO2 than aquatic varieties. If you were running co2 injection I’m sure you could grow more varieties of moss

    How much do you make with moss? Because I see that your main income out of all these is the shrimp. I have all kinds of beautiful moss on my property in Florida, but is it worth the time vs profit? Setups can be made with minimal cost, most led lights cost next to nothing to run. Main thing is if you have the market to sell the end product. You can be sitting on a mound of moss but no one to sell it to and it won’t do you any good
