I always enjoy these videos of the Tropica facilities, it must smell amazing in there! Their website really helped me select the right plants for my first aquascape. Just found out one of my local fish stores carries their products, so I’ll be using them for the next scape. Thanks for the video and thanks for making their website even better 😁

That moss on lava you picked up looks a bit like a hedgehog ;) What a great place to be. I must admit some plants do look way better in emerged form, i.e. java fern you pointed is so lush. I would love to know how ancient some of the plants are. It seems they just adopted to new conditions but thrive best when high humidity and lots of CO2 is in the air and underwater is their 2nd choice. Great stuff G, more if you can please.

That was an outstanding tour video that gave an humbling insight to what takes place to provide the plants for this hobby. As for other tings to see, the lab would be great even if they would just show a staged generic representation of what is done there. The in vitro growth is interesting too. Even a discussion of how they determine water parameters optimized for each plant species, go about shipping plants, propagating plants, and the politics of what plants are legal in different areas or countries. Thanks for taking the time to give us a peak into the industry, Jim PS: Do you ever feel like a Latin scholar with the plant species' names rolling off your tongue? :)

Bear in mind Hygrophila pinnatifida turns bright red underwater. So depending on how you feel you either get a bright splash of lovely pacific Island red for your money or something that will distract from your planting silhouette quite considerably. If dark, quiet, moody primitive African green is what you want this isn't the plant. Alternatively you can grow it out of the water to create that towering (nano) forest affect around a mossy forest pool, this way it will stay dark green.
