Groundnut Paste - Mboh - Precious Kitchen - Episode 55
Cameroonian groundnut paste, also known as "Mboh" is a pudding-like savory meal made with roasted peanuts. It is spicy, peanuty and insanely good!

Good job!! How long can this stay outside the fridge?
Nice dr
I just made it and the texture is like American stuffing. I really like it, I’m eating it with 7grain bread. I used scotch bonnet pepper, dry red pepper flake, and black peppercorn,I blended the dry peppers with the crayfish but I think I used a tad too much salt so next time I may leave the salt out. I also used fresh garlic and dried onion flakes, ginger garlic paste, along with the Maggie. This one I think you have to eat it right away I don’t think you can keep it overnight. I didn’t use anchovies but I would like to try it next time, my question is do the anchovies have salt on it?

Thanks for the feedback, dear! Yes, dried anchovies are salty but you could definitely leave them out. Love to see all the ingredients you added. Such great ideas! Glad you love it. You could keep the groundnut paste in the fridge and reheat on the the stove or microwave when you want to eat it. It is also great when eaten at room temperature.

Hi Violet, unfortunately I can't remember the name of the hair but it was crochet hair. I think I used about 5 packs. If you check different crochet braids you could find something similar.
God bless you too oh mami! Well done again! I like this no-leaves alternative!
Is it tibo de salad
Can I use the groundnut/peanut butter already in cans?

Hi Pauline, it is called a corn grinder. Please check the description box of the video for a link to the machine.
Lady P nice job as usual but I think Mboh is different from groundnut paste or im I wrong? Mboh is tied in leaves n needs the crayfish et al but groundnut paste is prepared in a pan/pot n doesnt need crayfish. Just salt n maggi is enough for paste.

lady D, thanks for always being here. My mother actually taught me how to make this and she says ingredients are the same but I should use less water, wrap and steam if I want the steamed version. Also, I have always used both terms: "groundnut paste" and "mboh" interchangeably. Guess we can always learn something new. Have a lovely weekend, dear.
