everyone seems to ignore the fact that they said last PLANNED content update, which dosent mean they fully quit with updates. they could always think of something a few years down the line

I'd also like to mention that steam only counts a game as complete once a player has gotten all achievements. Which is extremely difficult.

Creator mode allows to craft any new weapons

I was part of the crowd who never finished the game because I didn't want to lose my yard, I can't be alone in that. I'll definitely be tapping into NG+ and already have 100k raw science in one super grindy server

I deleted all of my saves when the update came out... Not regretting it! I like grinding and logistics so it definitely helps in the motivation department. Happy hunting!

I get that maybe we were hoping for cooler armor and more builds but it pleases me so much more that they focused on bringing the game to other platforms. Some people are gaming on what they got. Thats the big deal. And they gave us some more content and options. 👏

Question, is it best to play NG+ after I 100% or before. Because I notice as you go into NG+ when you go to upgrade your health the milk moler cost goes back to 1. Is it best to use them all before I go into NG+ or not. I’m very confused

its best to get all the milk molars. Yes, in ng+ your molars reset, but the values you gained stay. So if you get your hp up to +25 for example, when you ng+ that +25 from the milk molars before you ng+ becomes added to your base health, and you can further increase it with more molars from there.

If your playing on custom, which disables achievements. Will that also show up as you not completing the game?

I feel like this shouldn’t be the last update. Been playing a couple weeks and absolutely love the game BUT (we need more creatures and map expansion of some sort) I wish 😢

There is lots of new content only new game plus has to offer like almost 20 new weapons tier 4 and some can only be accessed in new game plus 1 2 and it goes up to 6 until you have everything

It runs so good on switch so impressed so far 🎉 it definitely looks worse but everything does on switch.

Well, all in all, it looks like enough of a reason to do another playthrough to see how the ant queens affect things. I'm also curious to check out the new armor and weapons. Maybe finally play with some friends since I've only ever done single player. Grounded is one of those games where I can always come back after a break and enjoy it again for a while.

Me and my friends, I don't even remember when we freed Tully but I do know that we've had the quest to turn on the javamatic for like 2 months now because we don't want to do it, because if we do it, the game ends. That's why only 1% of people complete the game

Only 1% man oh man that means me and my buddy finished the game 3 to 4 times so we're what in the 0 .97% of those who finished the game. 😮 that's crazy . Been playing it since day one. Or even beta. Nice to know. Hope the community is gonna like the game with the new players coming in from different consoles.

How late is the update live?

Yeah I agree that it sucks most of the new content is for NG+. NG+ is good for allowing for better upgrades, like the higher tier armor and weapons, and making enemies harder, and stuff, but to have all the completely new weapons locked behind a mode the vast majority of players won't even do is dumb. If there was maybe ONE NG+ where you can do it once and get all the new stuff, that'd be fine. But the randomness making you need to do multiple NG+'s to collect and do everything is dumb

How do you posion the ant queen's? I've been looking buy I can't figure it out?

There's a poisoned variant of the item you use to summon them

Been playing since day one, and pretty much playing alone ever since I had to deal with toxic players that come in and destroy everything when you're out in the game. I'm crap at a lot of the combat, so the broodmother alone is an issue for me, much less the wasp queen, and etc. Doubt I'll make it to NG+, much less NG+2-3 and beyond :/

true idk how u can play the same yard twice. it gets a little bit stale. an expansion would be nice, like 20% of the entire map wouldve been a nice surprise. maybe they will in the future... hopefully the game gets lots of sales as a motivation for the devs to continue with the updates and do expansions

I feel as if they have heard our ideas on content updates that would make the game lengendary. But i have no idea why they wouldnt add anything like more areas or doing the shed. I feel like they are giving up on the game.😢

Most people played via GamePass so the percentages need to be weighted far heavier. At least 90% of people played via GamePass so (90% x 1.3%) + (10% x 4.3%) = 1.6% completion rate. Also you need to kill the Wasp Queen to unlock NG+ and those stats are even lower (90% x 0.77%) + (10% x 2.5%) = 0.9%. In any case very few people have met the requirements for NG+ and of those people how many are still playing or will come back for this update?

@@MediocreMiltonhave not killed the wasp queen or done the Javamatic on a world I have over 100 days on, I had just been building stuff up for a while and updates rolled through. Now that I actually have reason to I’m going to beat the game fully, and a couple of my friends that played with me when I started over a year ago are coming back to finish it out as well. While it may not be many, there is a player base coming/coming back with this update!

I can see where you are coming I dont ever play ng+ in games I want all content unlocked in my first playthrough I want to experience everything there. When people lock stuff in ng+ I dont play the games. I seen a lot of games do that recently it is annoying when devs do this. Just let me get everything in one playthrough.

Might have to go back to grounded after i finish smalland. Its been a while.maybe that awful grounded taste in my mouth has finally dissipated

This game had so much potential the developers just chose not to tap into. Shame.
