The Shinobi sneeze is actually very useful for visiting the termite den for the first time as you can easily be overwhelmed

Building at least 6 mushroom farms early and remembering to harvest then regularly is a really good idea because of how much the mushrooms are needed for late game building. And farm/keep any Boiling glands you can to make at least 4 furnaces.

Plugging the Haze allows Burr Weeds to spawn all over the map - before that you will only be able to get 10 from a plantpot and that doesn't respawn.

Fun fact! With red ant armor and the increased hauling strength mutation allows you to carry 24 planks of glass planks and weed stems. That’s 1 less than you can fit on a pallet

The Intern Badge shoots it up to 39 planks you can carry. However, the badge also forces you to move very slowly

#7, Easy assist to this is luring Stink Bugs to the Mouth of the Red Ant Mound. Yes there is a chance you will loose some loot, but you will also be able to Hide once agro is lost and Gather eggs while ants are Preoccoupied.

You can plant muscle sprout in garden patches, and with spoiled food as fertilizer increases harvest to 4. For chest instead of hold pressing E in every chest, just press N to deposit to all chest.

U can shoot the petals with arrows and then just pickup the petals and arrows after they fall. Sometimes its a pain to get all the way up the flowers to melee them

1. You can build sap collectors on ivy vines in the upper yard too. 2. You can now farm muscle sprouts in the garden in the latest update. 3. Don’t upgrade your gear past lv5 until you can make glue. 4. Use the salt morning star against wasps (destroy their hives and loot them, too). 5. Decorations have a comfort rating in the menu so check that if you’re trying to increase your base coziness. 6. Build on the pond for immunity from most enemies and a great view. 7. Plugging the haze is useful for negating the use of gas masks in that area - The gas mask is fragile and the haze is hard to explore before it’s plugged. 8. You can customise the decorations on the shelves using LB. 9. Use spicy weapons to kill food-giving bugs to insta-cook the meat (salt weapons create jerky). 10. The gas mask can be used for explosion resistance when upgraded, useful for fighting infected bugs. 11. Eat candy chunks. Mints give you the fresh defence mutation, spicy is covered here and sour gives you damage reflect. 12. Loot any human skeletons you find - they usually have something useful.

almost all you said was helpful, except for #7. Turning off the haze is PERMANENT and make infected enemies spawn anywhere in the map (except for specific places) so unless you are ready to find & fight infected ladybugs/larvas don't do that, gas mask are cheap and having to fight infected enemies + them destroying a looot of stuff causing lag is not worth it. Only plug the haze when you know for sure everyone is ready to to take all of what's there and kill that specific secret boss Also there is a lot of dead tier 2 bugs to loot for free in there when the haze is active

The haze is useful for keeping the infected from spreading all over the yard, infected wolf spider anyone? Yes, no mask is convenient.... but there is a price to be paid. Infected aren't that big a deal, but it changes the feel of areas and your bases will be attacked by them. Think carefully before you plug the haze, you can't go back once it's done.

Quick deposit to nearby can just be done by pressing N instead of using the wheel. And you dont need 2 dew collectors per person but instead 1.5, so 2 people would only need 3 not 4

You do need the wheel if you're on a controller, the number of dew collecters needed depends on molars used and difficulty

Disagree on Shibobi Sneeze, it's also extremely useful for looting red ant eggs on Woah difficulty during early game. It's also very helpful to cross the Bee patrol at the bench, and to lose a chasing wolf spider when you're not ready for it. The Truffle shuffle to break cracked rocks and dew collector under straws are very useful, thank you!

all im going to say for tip number 11 3:10 is instead of using weed stems use grass for late game or clovers for early game since they can both be grown instead of farmed, good luck out there fellow explorers.

Literally the first tip, I had no idea you could put berry and pupae parts on jerky racks. And I put almost 200 in game days into Grounded!

In crop plots at your base. 1 sprout becomes 2 "plants" harvested by simply picking them up. There is a small chance for the Green Thumb effect to trigger individually on either plant in the crop plot; turning that sprout into an enlarged version that yields 2 sprouts but requires a tier 2 axe to harvest.

I used the Spiky sprig with mint until I was able to make the mint club. The bleed is good for a hit and run if I was losing the fight and lots of things don't like fresh.

This game is awesome! I'm just learning to play and is a bit overwhelming at first. I appreciate your videos! I love all the crafting items, building and techniques in this game. I hope to get comfortable with all of it. Thanks!

You can also use clay to block the infected wolf spider under the oak tree, I have done this on my map with an Oak base and its an epic quality too life

Again, something for everybody. Just one new tip for me, but a good one (the one about glowing blueprint). Even at places which do not allow to place it, you still have kind of a torch.

wolf spiders wont always catch you, run under small things and over things like roots, or jump in water if you have it available, also you can now plant muscle sprouts

Yes as I said in the video unless you go up or down they will catch you. Implying running in a straight line on a flat plain they will always catch you, using obstacles will save you. Also you can plant muscle sprouts now yes

Best part is you don't even need to place the blueprint, just select it and you get light

Ok I actually learned something new here. Never knew you could change the bounce pad angle and hight.

I had no idea you could even make berry/pupa leather without drying it on a rack so I was a bit confused by that tip!

Didn’t know the tip about converting weed into 8 plant fibre. Thanks for that, as collecting plant fibre is grindy. Just fill up a regular, or large stem pallet with weed planks and you get 168 plant fibre from regular pallet and 480 from the large

at 13:00, this may have changed during an update since this video was released but you can grow muscle sprouts in gardens, and you can find a couple in the black ant lab

I've already beat the game but soon I will make a new playthrough so these will help

You can farm muscle sprouts in the garden patches takes 60hrs though which is a pain in the backside.

@Paraly5er 16:45 best tip for Sprigs, especially early on, me and my boyfriend call this area "Sprig City" because you can harvest between 90 to 120 Sprigs in one run, and it refreshs often, so it's basically infinite Sprigs, no farm plots needed!

Another tip if you real want early wolf spider kills. Craft about 60 spears and stash half if them in a chest on the root near the tree lantern with the small stick going down to the spider hole. They can't jump up there and you can just toss spears for massive damage.

The tip to avoid black widow can be very easily done without parkour - just bring 2 or 3 shinobi sneezes and sprint past, more if you want to avoid the widowlings completely as well

#95, you can also avoid the black widow just by running behind her at the right moment and she won't even notice you

You can plant muscle sprouts in a garden at your base actually and farm them that way but only 3-4 at a time

Tip #47 - if I remember correctly you can parkour onto the top of the sandcastle aswell, go around the side of the sandbox then just use a dandelion tuft to glide over

Add on to tip 45 if you have at least 2 players make a sour staff than start the fight with one player in the doorway they can hit him and can only be damaged by orc weaver jrs and if the player inside the arena dies don’t respawn or he will leave

if only i had known about that "recover backpack" feature earlier...... :D tracking them down one by one in the haze was hell..... :P

You can grow muscle sprouts now, you don't get a massive yield - I think with rotten food as fertiliser you get the equivalent of 4 for 1 you put in. It's not a massive thing but you can get more than what is available in the pond lab.

I believe Tip 13/14 Doesnt entirely work anymore, atleast on PC, due to pests/pets eating foods from a much further distance, and through walls. I have a pit trap myself, and they keep eating the food. But you can place a Toadstool garden plot in the middle and still farm Weevils, since they're attracted, but dont eat it.

I remember when I first started and didn't know about trail markers. So I built a massive 30 wall high tower with lights on top to act like a lighthouse. Unfortunately because it was made of grass and how hard it was to carry grass and pallets early on when the game launched the tower was an absolute Jenga mess. Once I got mushroom bricks however I rebuilt it perfectly straight and even taller for a Zipline hub. With trampoline elevator.

@@Paraly5er I love my first base so much, it's undergone many renovations and expansions but the heart of the early builds where never changed. Just kept expanding. I've built some pretty cool bases in other places but none are as elaborate. Because I built right next to the broken machine near the starting area. Had to build overtop the machine. Because new players kept getting spawn camped by the wolf spider at the kid case, I built a long tunnel to my base. Currently renovating it into a procession up the an old crumbling church that acts as the gate to my town. With the large mushroom tower full of red torches glowing in the distance.

All i did to get to upperyard is place a halfwall next to the rock and then jump on it and on top of the rock that needs to be exploded. This way is way easier if youre not good at parkouring

When playing coop, one person can load the Plank/Stem Pallets while the other one starts the trip back to base. The "loader" can still add Planks/Stems to the original place of the Pallet while the traveler is relocating said Pallet. This way, you don't have to wait till the Pallet is full :)

@@Fondaz93 east side of tree there are a couple of leaves that cross 2 of the roots. The spiders will try to jump up to you but cant reach. The infected wolf spider CAN make the jump.

Tip: Use game saves to reload at a specific point to save you having to run across the map to collect your backpack. It’s a good idea saving before a hard fight or before going into a dangerous area

i feel like carrying heal bassa's are better than bandages because they heal a big chunk of health, while yes bandages are better early game, if you're at early midgame to late game you should always carry atleast 5 for a quick heal

@@Paraly5er while yes smoothies are the best healing due to their effects and heals, imo its better to save smoothies for hard enemies or mix.r, while heal bassa's are quick and faily easy to get. In end game i usually combine them so when im just needing a quick heal i'll just throw a heal bassa but if im fighting a boss im gonna use smoothies

I got to the upper yard without a bomb, thanks to the 1.2 update...if you have the Handy Gnat, just take it to the Pond then go up and build the Zipline on the upper yard and one near the Oak tree...its best to do this after you defeat the Assistant Manager and get the ZIP.R

They are christmas trees, you could only unlock them during christmas and they gave free items all of december, they don't work now

The only new thing I learnt is that you get a buff from sleeping in a bed, although I at the same time feel like I knew that one before...
