Lyrics:
dead
I couldn't wait another night
to find a world where we stay over for forever
you held your gun to me for the last time
and now you're calling out like I still have your number
you’ll never get to me alive
oh I hope I leave you wanting more
I won't remember anything that I can't ignore
like how you made me feel so lowered
down
I'm down enough to know it's done
and it makes you feel alive but I just can't win
you're tired of going nowhere far
you have to break the string you're on it's inevitable
but it makes you feel alive
oh I hope I leave you wanting more
I won't remember anything that I can't ignore
like how I felt so lowered
I hope I make you feel so lowered
it's in our blood to want to feel young
it's in our blood to need to have control
it's in our blood to feed
it's in our blood to dream
it's in our blood to be so lowered
oh I hope I left you wanting more
and now I'm looking for your shape outside my door
and oh it's making me feel so lowered

Reba's great in Code Orange obviously, but her vocals here are just insane. Kind of wish she was on more of the album than just the one track
Reba clean vocals are better than ever while Greg never disappoints whatever he does. Beautiful song

Greg is a nuclear weapon in his own. Everything he does is eclectic and special in its own way. Reba amazing as always. Thank you guys.
This is THE BEST dueling vocal performance I have ever heard in one song. The BEST. EVER.
Sounds like something that would have been on Koi No Yokan. Very good.
Inspired duet from two of the most versatile and talented vocalists in heavy music today!
"I hope I leave you wanting more I won't remember anything that I can't ignored." This is pure gold, anything that this man does is just magical.
Greg really does have the midas touch. And Reba compliments this track perfectly! This is just incredible.
Lest we forget... Hornbrook's drumming and snare tone!
Even his choice of words is impeccable. Saying "Now I'm looking for your 'shape' outside my door," as opposed to "face," or "body," makes it so much more intimate somehow. Phenomenal song. Greg and Reba complement each other perfectly.
The man doesn't miss. This is fucking great.

Nah I'm not having that. She's led vocals on what, a handful of tracks? That's a massive overreaction. Their heaviest stuff is what pushes the boundaries, and it generally doesn't have Reba singing on it. She's objectively a better singer, but the reason Code Orange are so successful is precisely because they have so many different textures and can span so many genres so effortlessly. The title track from Forever and Swallowing the Rabbit Whole are just as big a part of their success as stuff like Bleeding in the Blur and Underneath. Probably even more so considering their background and how interesting the music is in those examples. I get it, the whole Powerman ripoff with Jami front and center was absolute dogshit and I hope they never go anywhere near that again. But it doesn't invalidate what they've done before with him as the lead vocalist.
This is the most beautiful song to come out in years.
Straight up one of the greatest songs i have ever heard in my life. I just wish i could stop listening to it.
Fffft that hook is really the best of synthpop Greg. Love that he's recommitted to going solo.
Greg is such a talent, we’re so lucky to have been getting more of his solo stuff recently
Damn! I love Reba's performance! I love cold Reba!

Greg, in my opinion is an absolute musical prodigy! Everything this guy writes is gold. And as he evolves you can see feel and hear the influences and inspiration he's incorporating along the way. It blew my mind to see him go from Dillinger to Jerry Cantrell who is a total musical gift and icon in his own rite. Now to see him collaborate with a key player in innovative modern metal.. Reba Meyers of code orange (another favorite) just shows me more of the genius musical chameleon Greg is. Love the track. It's beautiful, dark, catchy.
