LYRICS
take a look in the mirror
are you bored?
is it everything and more than you ever hoped for?
‘cause it ain’t fair (so unfair)
and nobodys’ ever gonna care
they just wanna hear you talk
for a story
for the moment
are you happy now?
will you ever be?
is it enough now?
‘cause you know it’ll never be
i swear I saw it all
but I’m not sure
that i found anything i want
i saw it all
and i’m not sure
that i found anything but what i never saw
a final sin
it feels so clear in the reflection
this could be what ends it all
if you believe thats what we are
‘cause were all the same
spreading blame but covered in shame
the finger that points to what they lack
is the same one pointing back
are you happy now?
will you ever be?
is it enough now?
i swear I saw it all
but I’m not sure
that i found anything i want
i saw it all
and i’m not sure
that i found anything but what i never saw
“inside this factory of endless doing
who can really spot the difference
between the illusory world
and self re-affirmed sensation”

Don't know if the band read the comments, but to hell with it. I'm on the fence about other songs, but this is an absolutely beautiful introspective piece. Don't take the opinions of an over the hill 41 year old to heart but know that this fading metal/alt-rock fan loved every second.

I'll admit, code orange can be a hit or a miss with me. That being said, this is one of my favorite songs of the year, from any artist.
I appreciate that this band is being creative and exploring different styles. I’m a huge extreme music fan but literally listen to everything. Anyone who’s complaining about this are egg heads and super close minded.

Absolutely love this and sooo happy Reba is getting more of the spotlight with her vocals!! She has such a soothing and loving voice 😭
This sounds and looks like it came straight from the early 00s, what a vibe. I mean, it's polar opposite to ,,Forever", but I am gonna embrace this songwriting as hard as their earlier sound, wow.
Tbh, I listen to Code Orange b/c of Reba. The other guys are great and all, but she's what keeps it all balanced. Would love to hear a solo Reba album one day.
This is sick.

I like the Sledgehammeresque scenes.
the versatility of this band is off the charts. they transcend any genre at this point as far as they want to.
Jami is dope but Reba's vocals always make me go for a whole trip, it's amazing. Give her more songs please !
Digging the "Sledgehammer" style stop motion stuff here. 👍🏻
This is such an earworm! Gets stuck in my head so much. You know what else, it is so uplifting to see a happy side to code orange, everyone having fun and Reba has such a great smile. And Shade! I am so excited for the new album. We've seen how deep the rabbit hole goes, spread your wings, lets see the above!
The more different things they try, the more respect & admiration for them I have, love this band
Oh my goodness. Just when I thought I couldn't love this band more.
She should try a solo album sometime.
It's both nostalgic and melancholic to see and hear such a strong 90s aesthetic; it's definitely bittersweet to reminisce about. Nice 'Slowly We Rot' shirt coupled with acid-washed jeans - nailed the look. It pains me to think that such musical innovations of the past century will never happen again. To think that electricity and all the musical milestones that followed with will never be discovered again - it's wild. Just recalling how Metal was such an integral part of our culture in those days, then Hip-Hop (both being counter-culture scenes) makes me think we're living through a special time in all of supposed human evolutionary history. Like, I was alive when the fucking internet was unleashed upon the population; when Death Metal was gaining mainstream popularity; when video games were just colored blocky pixels. How fast we're progressing makes me wonder some. Anyway, great song!
I have not once regretted getting this panther tattoo I swear. Love these guys will all my heart
This one is my favorite of their new songs. Great chorus and a distinct voice. Didn't expect it to be this good.
So stoked reba can utilize her amazing vocals. Thinners ⛓️🫡
Ngl, the song is giving me some Meteora Era Linkin Park vibes for some odd reason while they maintain their creativeness they're known for. Plus, I imagine this can be as sort of a solo song for Reba, TBH. Overall, I am definitely enjoyed this song alot.

Totally, I got LP vibes from Take Shape too, just sounds nostalgic but also fresh, definitely not complaining tho. Kinda full circle, LP introduced me to heavy music, which eventually led me to Code Orange
I honestly didn't think I liked the direction they were going at first, but jesus christ. These past two albums have been a motherfucking chefs kiss
been listening to these guys since their very hardcore days (jamie on drums), seen them live also a few times in some really small clubs. unbelievable band growth by these guys, definitely not a band for those that aren't into a wide range of music because they are really doing something special imo. This song really surprised me, last thing i'd ever thought they sound like but not a bad thing. this track is great, catchy chorus, dark verse's and the video was amazing. so much creativity - great job. i've always been a big fan and will continue to support them as best as i can. thank you for the music CO.
Their vision is something else... I love this song and I'm happy to hear more of Reba's vocals. I can't wait to listen to the full album and further explore the world of Code Orange!
I really dig the Incubus with The Crystal Method vibes on this song. I feel like I'm back in the 90's. I generally gravitate towards heavier bands, but ngl this is dope.

Love how they’ve connected their videos & built upon a specific vision/aesthetic, most bands don’t put in this much thought & work into visuals
sound like a smashing pumpkins
Incredible. This needs more attention
Amazing song & video, very different & very creative, love all the different sounds they’re using, The Above is shaping up to be the best album by Code Orange!
Reminds a bit of Garbage 90s albums. Even Reba's voice timbre reminds me of Shirley's tbh. It hits some nostalgia ngl. Great stuff!
SO cool and such an unexpected direction which I love. This band has balls! I also really love how this gives me a real nostalgic 90s vibe and brings me back to my childhood (and when music videos were often amazingly creative like this). Some really cool Garbage and Massive Attack vibes. Love it!
The stop motion....holy shit. N2R killed it. Reba always killing it.
the hardcore scene is the only scene that has bands graduating and moving on to become prolific song writers with anything to fuckin say in this sea of nothing we have as rock bands today
I like it. Even if I didn't, I'd rather see a band take creative risks than stay formulaic for each and every album after the one I loved. And with their background and musicmaking ethic, you know the shows are still gonna be fire.

100% agree. Grew up with the old Bring Me The Horizon and obsessed with the first two albums from Linkin Park. When I saw them live I didn’t know what to expect with all the new stuff they pumped out after 2010 and it made their shows incredibly enjoyable live with the set list and liking how they changed.

"I was not sure I saw it all, but now I saw Reba smiling, I found everything I never saw."
Absolutely LOVE this! 🔥🔥♥ THIS is what "alternative" music needed for the longest time. It's awesome seeing your variety, especially with this song juxtaposed to your other releases...kind of a "Drive" - Incubus vibe compared to the other tracks originally on Make Yourself, but imo more refined and perfectly aware of the current state of music. Also your official videos are incredibly well crafted + I like that they are tied together somehow. You guys know what you are doing...keep going strong 💪🏼
I love this bands style, no Fs given and trying new styles and just playing what they like and being so creative with it. I love Reba's voice
This is as realest as art in music can get, the fact they never stopped going collectively for that their vision in music was
This album is going to be awesome.
That song and video are beyond incredible. If Code Orange has no fans left then I am dead.
This is one of their best songs ever and I didn’t expect that at all, but this is one of the most gorgeous videos ever. Was unsure about the direction of this album, but now with tears in my ears I cant wait to hear this new tape! they did it again!!! :’)
I like the song. And the music video certainly drew inspiration from Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer. 😁
Her vocals go so hard, especially with that Skull snaps breakbeat
Such a treat to watch; every shot is so interesting and different
This song has been on repeat all morning, imo one of the best songs code orange ever put out 🤘👏
Full marks to Code Orange for changing things up for this song. What a super tune it is, great vocals too. Oh and thumbs up to metal fans for being open minded enough to appreciate it.
I’ve listened to this song an unhealthy amount of times. It’s just different and captures Reba in a really cool perspective
Well nobody can accuse Code Orange of putting out the same stuff over and over, that's for sure.
All my life i've been unoranged, what a joy to be aboved.
I'd love to see beavis and butthead watch this. 😂
Well I just found my new favorite band.
Incredible, soo hype for this album!
Reba is so absurdly talented it'd be a crime not to let her voice and song be heard.
It gets very interesting again with this band
I love how this band just continues to evolve and push their boundaries with their music…. Still one of the most interesting bands active today…. I always look forward to everything they release…. There are no rules, no boundaries….you expect them to go one way….they go their own way.

This is hands down one of my favorite songs to date from y’all!! Love this sound!
this song single-handedly made me into a code orange fan, I knew of them as I am a WWE fan and they made two themes for Bray Wyatt (which both go hard)
This is breathtaking. One of the most beautiful music videos I've ever seen by far.
Straight to the playlist, it's insane 😮
This is amazing. This is what longevity looks like. To be able to constantly change your sound is what makes good musicians GREAT. And they did it right. I love them for taking risks. This song is so damn good!!! Reba nailed it. ❤❤❤
Absolutely love how this album is shaping up, can't wait for more!
She sings like a MtF it's so awesome. Absolutely captivated by this song
For me this track feels just as heavy as any of their hardcore/metal songs even though musically it feels more bubbly an uplifting
This is gonna be good
Just seen them at louder than life tonight. They put on one hell of a show. I’m glad I was introduced to them tonight
So many 90's vibes here but also with modern influences, great song Code Orange!!!
I didn't think I could appreciate the implied aesthetic though music more than I did on Underneath, but this almost euphoric utopia that the last two videos portray that feels like something is so wrong just out of reach is super unsettling and is really capturing my intrigue. This song is great, Reba is a powerhouse. One of the most underrated in the scene right now.
Great animation and great song. It's unique and unlike a lot of your previous songs, but I personally enjoy the artistic journey you guys are on.
Just when I thought I couldn't love this band more. Keep it coming.
i was never a Code Orange fan (it's just not my style of heavy metal is all), but this is my favorite Code Orange song now. i'll take this over the industrial/hardcore, or whatever label they fall under.
So no one told me that hooverphonic, sneaker pimps, and everything but the girl had a metal baby? I'm all for it.
Holy Peter Gabriel Sledgehammer stop motion! Cool video! And what a great fucking song. Reba just works no matter the genre.
These guys are just a treat artistically and emotionally. They are just fucking amazing.
Jesus christ this is a great song. The whole album is rad as hell.
This is one of my favorites in the discography thus far. What an ethereal headspace this allows for.
