I'm a humongous fan of Alice in Chains, since I was very young. I've been a fan of Code Orange since 2017. This is a cover I never knew I wanted, and here it is, and it rules. Thank you. You know you'll never quite capture their essence, you did it your way, and it's ridiculously cool.

...well technically this is an album called Under The Skin. It's basically the unplugged album for a bunch of their songs with a cover or two. You can buy it digitally. I get what you mean though. I almost prefer the more clean sung songs on Underneath over the heavier ones. I love their use of different genres and they are only getting better.

I'm 43 and this is the song that made me a fan at 16 in 1993 when my buddy bought the cassette at wal mart and jammed it in the car on the way back to his place. I just seen this cover and it's an honor to hear younger people playing the classics.
I'm so impressed with how much both of their vocals have improved, Code Orange Kids probably couldn't have pulled this off so gracefully.

Bro I played in a local metal band in Mississippi back in the late 2000’s early 2010’s and lived with a guy in another band. His band got Code Orange Kids to come play there well before they were famous (obviously so with Kids still being in the name) and they stayed at our place. They were amazing live then, and awesome people but I have to admit I never would’ve expected them to become one of the biggest bands in metal. They reinvented themselves while still managing to keep their original vibe and that’s a difficult thing to do and I wish more people knew about it. Very very talented group of people and I’m looking forward to seeing how they progress through the years. They really seem like they may have some real staying power.
As a fellow AIC and Code Orange fan this was beyond amazing. They did a great job on this.
So glad the whole set will be released as a live album! Loved the whole show.
Code Orange you bring tears to my eyes, and i feel like were friends, new hope, i never thought i would be abel to love a " modern band" me being 38, i love you your diversity and most of all the heavy as all all hell sound

I recall Reba and Jamie saying they were fans of 90s Alt-rock. It's cool to hear them stretch out a bit. The instrumentation sounded great. There was basically no chance of equalling Staley and Cantrell vocally. But I liked that they didn't try to and kept more to their style of clean singing. More plz
Reba has such a powerful low alto voice which allows her to sing male vocal parts better than any other woman I know. Jami tries to directly mimic Layne, which was probably his best move here.
These dudes are really slaying the game these days

I've listened to this a lot of times and I came to conclusion, that Reba's vocal performance here is probably my favourite female vocal perfomance of all time. I just love the emotions, rawness, color of her voice. Phenomenal job. And the rest of the band is great as always. I just fallen in love with that vocal and wanted to share my opinion. Cheers.

They definitely compliment each other well, I wouldn’t say close to Layne Jerry level which imo is the best vocal pairing in hard rock/metal ever but these 2 go together well and it’s a positive for the band

Hardest working band in the metal scene right now!
Hands down my favorite alice cover. What a bunch of brilliant musicians. And my lord did they nail those harmonies!
The arrangement here is key. Top quality, and the tones are spot on.
This is awesome. Clicked on this while reading a Loudwire article of the 40 best covers of 2020 :) Have been a big AIC fan since the 90's

Excellent version of a classic song. Performed with passion, feeling and an appreciation of the original. A very good band all around and Reba is just super as a singer also. 'I'd like to fly, but my wings have been so denied' remains one of the most honest, heart breaking lyrics.
