I've got a nearly 5-month-old great dane crossed with doberman. I really love the temperament contribution of the dane. She's the sweetest most playful pup ever but not a troublemaker in the slightest. Great combo. No idea how big she'll be. 18.2kg at 20 weeks.

Watching this while cuddling with my Dane! I knew I wanted a dog that fit my energy level and need for loving companionship. Lucy is that in spades. Oops! She she stretched and grunted--that means she's going into phase. three of her mid afternoon snooze.

Recently found the channel, learning so much. Thank you guys for putting these videos out. We adopted our first Dane and looking to adopt another soon, you can never just have one Dane.

@@bracedface2828 life got crazy for a while and would not have been fair to add a new dog to the mix. Things are slowly settling down and we have started looking at Dane rescues again.

If you don’t tell em from the start how to behave around other Animals or small children then they won’t be My second Great Dane is still learning to be gentle around children they are leaners , They Lean on ppl so s small children should never ever be alone in a room also a 2 yr old can be sitting on a couch and your Great Dane might want to sit in her lap that’s why it can be VERY dangerous I have a 10 year old daughter and a 7 month Great Dane He wanted to jump on her while they were playing but I was next to her and corrected the behavior it’s very important to supervise always He’s Only 7 months and bigger than a Lab and maybe bigger than Doberman but extremely playful so it can be a bit tricky 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can Danes be service not emotional support but physical assistance dogs or other tasks?

I took my dane upp in my cessna 150.. I took the seat out... with a harness.. He jumped in the plane excitied.... he was in 7th heaven as we accelerated down the runway.. But as soon as we took off he hit the dirt.. lying down.. slowly he lifted his head just enough to look out to confirm his worst fear.. that he was not on the ground.. as soon as he confirmed his worse fear he hit the dirt again and stayed there until I parked the plane.

my last dog was a mantle great dane best bud ive ever had he passed away 2 years ago i just got a shiba inu now and omg the behavior difference is immense lol great dane was never naughty shiba is always naughty lol

I have seen amazing calm friendly great danes. There was one who was so wonderful beutiful loving except with dogs smaller thelan her. She put 2 dogs in the vet 1st time the small dog provoked her second time the little dog ran out of the door to potty. And the third time witch wasn't as bad was when another medium dog ran into a room she tried to cause a scene .what does one do with that. Other than those situations she socialized great with people smart fun

My 7month old is so protective of my 4 year old daughter and 5month old son he didn’t even want the cat around the baby and he wasn’t playing best guard dog for family’s as long as you socialize and exercise.

My Great Dane so sweet to us but she acts like bite people

cane corso and a rhodesian are the best guard dogs.
