It is in Craig, Co. it is an actual horse drive run by Sombrero Ranches.

From what I understand, anyone can sign up to participate in the drive as well. Talk about needing your riding butt! 30 miles the first day alone!

True. There are fees involved, but yes, any rider can join.

I saw quite a few horses that need their hooves trimmed. They were getting quite long

Yes. They have been wintering free on BLM lands. The intent of the drive is to gather and bring back to the ranch where they are checked out, cleaned-up, etc.

This is what I love, I wish I could work with them. But I'm poor, is there any job. Lol

Not wild horses. They are all owned by sombrero ranches. Moving them from winter pasture back to the ranch 60 miles away.

These are not wild horses. All owned by Sombrero Ranches. But they winter on BLM land where there are also some wild/feral horses.

What a crock! More 'cowboys' than horses. Way too much yeehaa for a real operation. Music for Star Wars maybe. And the mustangs out of the wild are shod! Puhlease!

These are not wild horses. This is a real horse drive moving horse herd on winter BLM pastures back to the main ranch 60 miles away.
