Walter Dayrit isn’t that part of the problem though? It makes *no sense* how they got her. They didn’t “show us how” for a reason. Cause they couldn’t in a way that actually *made sense* so they just left the hole there and moved on for the sake of it. Messendei wasn’t dumb. She wouldn’t swim towards certain death instead of the safety of the shore. This is just one of *many* prime examples of shit writing. Emmy my ass.

From a slave girl to the queen closest advisor, confidant and translator, she was a butterfly that was saved and freed by a dragon and all she wanted to do in the end was return to home she was stolen from. She never asked for anything but received love and happiness in the end, she truly was one of kind. She and Grey Worm deserved so much better. She will always be one of my favorites, Missandei of Naarth, loyal from beginning to end. 😔❤️🦋

This show isn't only instance in which these things-loyalty, fear, terror happened-it happened billions of times in real life, in the past and now and in life of ordinary every-day people-furthermore this show was created by collecting things that frequently happened in history and real life and sewed them all together

She was the sweetest GoT character and the woman everyone would have loved to befriend.. You truly are the best editor for this show!

@@Stratigoz that obviously was “burn that bitch”, even the actress confirmed it, but D&D decided to make a mad queen. Missandei would never think of killing the innocent. Her very first appearance was when Dany dracaried the masters and the evils, not literally everyone.

As a "Low-born" slave girl, Missandei of Naath, possessed more poise and regality than any of the so-called "High-borns in the Westeros.

Daenerys responded with revenge towards King's Landing, just like Aegon burning down the entire kingdom of Dorne for killing his sister. She wasn't mad like her father, she was fierce like Aegon the Conqueror was. The people chose to stay in the city with Cersei who blew up the Sept of Baelor simply because of her own pride and inadvertently killed all of her children and any innocent bystanders that stood in her way of power; they knew she was evil, but they chose her. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

@Zee Steele They chose cersei out of fear and because of her propaganda. And yes Dany did go mad she burned the whole city when she could have just burned the castle with cersei in it. But all of the season and it's writing were terrible (except for one or two scenes)

Me too. But we weren’t emotionally invested in her as a character till the right before she died. The other we spent seasons growing to love, that’s why it was so heart wrenching.

To me the death of Missandei drove khaleesi mad. It was her last love that was murdered. She tried so hard to create change and was burdened by the loss of loved ones. Missandrei's death was the final straw and she was done with everyone's shit.

Damn beautiful. Made me cry. The syncing of titles was genius and powerful. The timing of her laugh in the video, and it being edited in black and white as a memory was my breaking point. Thanks for another wonderful creation.

An amazing character, actress, story arc...all utterly ruined by a horrible season 8. I will forever remember her Season 1-6, the true length of the show

John Lucas it’s not good storytelling to have a character end where they begin. Starting off in chains only to end in chains. They could have done her death much more justice the same with the whole entire season.

I hadn’t really been as angry as everyone else about the complete abandonment of character development and rushed story telling until watching this. Not only watching Missandei, but seeing scenes of Dany before she’d made her way to Westeros and the bs “Mad Queen” arc. I’m actually so mad now 😂 amazing video.

This was so cathartic! 😭 I had so many emotions for Missandei and Grey Worm, and watching this video felt like cleansing a wound. I will have to watch it again.

Once again breathtaking work. Loved their character and relationship with Grey Worm, their ending was tragedy and this is really satisfying tribute to both characters and actors!

OMG this woman is beautiful! I would've loved to see MORE scenes with Missandei , Dany& Grey Worm. She was more than an interpretuer for Dany, she was the sister Dany never had. Missandei & Grey Worm's love was so beautiful, I wanted more between them. Dany set them free but Missandei freed Grey Worm mentally and emotionally. Her being killed in front of him, & him keeping his promise at the end was so heartbreaking. He really should've got his hands on Yuron imo.

However, now looking back and remembering her I appreciate her story and what a beautiful, loyal, and kind person she was. Grey Worms pain of losing her was almost enough to make me cry

Lyanna, Jorah, and Theon died out of Valor and Chivalry and their choice. But Missandei, she's just so sweet. It was emotional that this sweet girl who had chosen to fight with her queen and had a dream- to go back to her homeland, died with one last wish, "Dracarys".
