The saddest thing is the show didnt show her relationship with her other dragons besides Drogon but in the books she had such a strong connection with Rhaegal and Viserion and always talked with them too

I think the mad queen got exactly what she deserved. I adored her in the beginning when she justifiably killed slavers and bad people. She was a good merciful ruler and only killed whennit was necessary. Ever since she entered Westeros she became a tyrant. Massacring people simply for not bending to her will. She became the mad queen and by the end did the very thing that Jamie killed her father for trying to do, massacring all of the innocent women men and children of Kingslanding. Then declared war on the world, she wasn't going to stop there cities everywhere would have suffered the same fait if Jon hadn't done what he did.

Having read the book before watching the show, it actually hurts watching the Dragons die. Since we read in Dany’s POV, we are put in her shoes, and we sympathize with her. When i watched Viserion die the first time, it actually broke my heart, as I could never imagine how Book-Dany would feel watching her son die.

Especially since Viserion is the sweetest among the dragons, she doted on him and he was the one who was most attached to her. Rhaegal was kind of a surly kid while Drogon was independent.

I mean, like in Astapor or Yunkai (I cant remember) we see that even though the dragons grow, they still wish to sit on their mothers shoulder; trying to claw their way on their mothers shoulder and coiling their necks around her own. I dont know if im prepared to see one of them die.

The last seconds made me cry so hard. I feel like Drogon was really remembering all of that, and he's just like a big kid, sad and alone. Now I feel so sad for Drogon

She wasn’t mad. She was the breaker of chains,queen of the 7 kingdoms and mother of dragons. Our mother. No matter what they tell she is our mother. Now and always.

That "She needs true protectors, now more than ever. They shall come day and night to see the wonder born into the world again. And when they see, they shall lust. For dragons are fire made flesh, *and fire is power.* " is amazing part. IDK why.

I will never forgive the GoT ending. Dany and the dragons deserved so much better. If she had to die, give me a death she would have been proud of. If she had to go crazy, give me a reason. Move Rhaegal's death to the moment before she burns King's Landing, give me more episodes where she's losing her mind, SOMETHING. Drogon, the poor sweetling, is all alone in the world now. I hope that he returned to Valyria and found some peace. The dragons were more than beasts for dramatic action sequences, they were intelligent characters with personalities all their own. They deserved a real arc. This video is a beautiful tribute

Maia When Drogon the poor sweetling is used wrongly to massacre all the civilians leaving some sweetlings innocents alive + ‘burn injuries survivors’ all orphan or alone due to their family members burnt to death, then it’s just more of the same suffering for Drogon’s victims, sorry 😐 . Daenerys used her power unjustly. If she had been less jubilant in her victory speech & offered to tend to the surviving civilians with immediate regret for the collateral damages caused, perhaps it would’ve change some ppl’s minds abt her moments of madness (Tyrion, Jon). After all, she did come to bring relief to ppl & save them from Tyranny. Through her genocide, she proved worse than Cersei who usually sought to eradicate her enemies or anyone posing harm to her family & rarely target civilians. So, painfully, Tyrion was being factual- all the ppl Tywin & Cersei killed combined doesn’t match the numbers Daenerys kill in one day should she choose her fearsome power to win battles. 😞 And she should’ve beheaded her captives or surrendered enemies Eg Tarlys once there’s a stand-down as much as she uses her dragons at the battlefront. Burning ppl alive to instil fear will not sit well with the rest of Westeros who supported Robert Baratheon’s rebellion & overthrow of mad king Aerys..

Beb Bo yep I agree with you! Dany’s actions were horrible and completely unjustifiable. I meant that I felt that Dany deciding to burn King’s Landing was done really poorly, because I feel like it doesn’t make sense with her character as she was portrayed, and I wish that they had had her act differently or set up her arc differently. As for Drogon, I mean, asking him to feel bad about the humans is kinda like asking a cat to feel bad about killing mice, or humans to feel bad about killing chickens. I still feel bad for him though, because all he did was follow his mom’s directions and he was left with all his family dead, and the last of his kind in the world. I think that’s really sad, but that doesn’t mean I don’t also feel bad for the King’s Landing citizens, of course.

In my mind Drogon took Daenerys to Kinvara. She has been resurrected and plotting revenge....

I know this is late but when Dany gives her final speech in King’s Landing and Drogon is perched on her right in triumph, did you notice that there are two empty spaces above and to her far left? Those are the places Viserion and Rhaegal were supposed to be. It breaks my heart every time because that’s where they would’ve been positioned if they hadn’t been murdered.

I was sad when the two dragons died but when drogon lost everyone even his siblings and mother I felt sorry for him

They deserved better. Dany wasn’t mad - she was dealing with tremendous losses. Her Dragons were her life and she was betrayed by a man she thought loved her.

Vwall007ST others were mad too then Arya, Sansa, Cerci and many others. Daenerys was cruel to her enemies all the time like most other Got characters. Season 8 ep 5 is just lazy writing. It took many books for Aegon to become sick and crazy that wanted to burn everyone. Daenerys Iike she forgot who she is and what she wants less than a day. Over 2 episodes. I wish there was more seasons for her story to play out better. More mad queen development.

3.22 - the switching part where Dragon growls for the first time after his birth, sitting right on his mother's shoulders to how he growls in grief for the last time infront of his mother's dead body really hit me hard.

I can't take these videos, she's fictional but I miss her 😭 She deserved so much better

The problem is, this awesome video showed nothing but how she impacted the world and what she achieved, and everything she did was for the greater good. This is how she will be remembered, not as the super rushed villain the writers made us want to hate but couldn't.

I actually thought it was more fitting to her cause to burn the Tarley’s. It was a war. She gave them multiple chances. They chose to die. She went to Westeros to “break the wheel” but Tyrion wanted her to treat the Tarley’s special because they were noble. He didn’t care about the foot soldiers. Just the rich “blue bloods”. She chose to treat them the same as every other soldier who wouldn’t surrender. She stuck by her word. Didn’t care they were a noble house that was a part of “the wheel”. Not her fault Sam’s brother chose to be burned alive next to their abusive father than see him again. And executing slave owners after have to walk past crucified children for miles is pretty understandable. It’s been labeled one of the most painful ways to die. Not like the slaves stepped up and vouched for any of the masters. If they did maybe she would have listened, but none did. So… odds are the guys had it coming.

This makes me so sad :( The dragons had barely any depth to them once the book material ran out. No personalities, just turned into Drogon and dragon extras. Westeros didn't really seem to care they'd returned, no peasants and bards telling tales, no maester's discussing what to do, no Targ loyalists coming out of the shadows... Rhaegal's death was when GoT fully died to me, so cheap and lazy. RIP to the story that could have been and how incredible the dragons were meant to be.

Her character was the only one I was ever invested in and she deserved SO much better!

The reason why I got into GOT was a I saw a picture of Undead Viserion breathing blue fire. I loved the show for many reasons but Daenerys and her dragons were my favorite. This was an excellent tribute to characters who never spoke but you understood their emotions. Love the dragons and my Khaleesi

The dragons are characters in their own right

Oh! 💔💔💔 This breaks my heart. Everyone who was supposed to help or protect her eventually let her down, betrayed her outright, or used her for their own selfish ends. Her and her children. Dany was more of a true Targ than most of the characters on HOTD. They all grew up in the family. She grew up largely on her own and had to figure it out w/o faithful or relative help.

I was thinking the same!!!! ❤️ she fought by herself, surrounded by snakes while in HOTD they had family, yes they may have been enemies among themselves but same stayed faithful to on another, while poor Danny didn’t even have a speck, she was all on her own, and she was the last, I don’t count Jon, he had no white hair so to me he was nothing

They are the reason why i watch the show. The fact that they rose up from 3 stone eggs and have become beasts of war is truly amazing. Too bad the house that carries them is truly greedy and power lust. As long as there are dragons people who control them will use them for power. Fire and blood they lay waste to their enemies.

I just wanted to daenerys to find the house with the red door and live a happy life. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
