For those that can't afford the Kiwaya KTS-7, check out his review of the Kiwaya KSU-1L Long Neck Soprano from July 2018. I bought the KSU-1L after watching his glowing review and it's a fraction of the cost of the KTS-7 (around 1/8th the price). You can call the KSU-1L a "poor man's Kiwaya" if you like, but I've been very pleased with it.

Great review, Baz. I’ve always respected the Kiwaya brand. The KTS-4 is a work horse for me. Beautifully made and sounding. I could imagine the KTS-7 being all that more special.

Yes, I owned the similar KTS-5 - superb instruments

I don't think I've ever seen you light up so much in any of your reviews that I've seen. Of course, I've mainly watched your reviews on very low-cost ukes. This one is stunning. I have a feeling it sounds even more wonderful in person than what the mic could capture here. That logo is fantastic. It is so elegant. WOW - on this one. I'm definitely adding this to my list of ukes to get along the way of my uke journey. Thank you!!

A well made soprano is so much satisfaction. Because it's such a small instrument, the material and setup matters even a little more than on other ukes. I'm not sure if i could let this instrument go back to his owner, specially when he sells it! :)

That's actually my only complaint about Kiwaya - they are quite hard to find. Very small volume manufacturer.
