@Mick Slann No it can’t. Love can not be one sided, that is just a ‘liking’, or a reaffirmation of oneself. Love is a transcendence of oneself, freeing oneself from the confines of their own narcissistic, and attaching to some ‘other’. It is recognizing something else as real.

It's pretty funny to me that a 30-day vacation is called a "mini-retirement" in this video. Found the American! A 30-day vacation in France is just called "summer". 😂

The other day I was watching the news and they were talking about "silent quitting" and they discussed that what Americans call "silent quitting" is what we call "going to work" in Germany 😂

And we got affordable healthcare for everyone and free education while being one of the safest countries in the world ? And all that by working an average of 4 hours less than the average American 🤔

well done man. I've taken the past 2 summers off to spend more time with my kids and during those 2.5/mo completely abstained from work. Both times I've come back stronger than before and surprisingly KZread didn't punish my channel at all. It's well worth it man, enjoy your time and we'll all be here when you get back!

I love seeing people take intentional breaks. We either take them proactively or we'll be forced to take them eventually. Congrats Matt!

When i first read the title i freaked out for a minute. But since that actually might happen one day i just wanted to thank you for changing my life, since i first discover your documentary Minimalism: A documentary about the important things, that then lead me to your channel that ended up inmersing me in this rabbit hole of minimalism. After a couple of years of decluttering, changing my clothes for "simpler" ones, and some other habits that some people find weird for a 22 year old, i find myself more stable than ever before and even the college thesis am currently doing is about minimalism (in Mexico it's kinda weird this lifestyle). Congratulations Matt! my goodness, I took four months off from 10 years in an industry. I could not tell you how great it felt. I am so happy to know that people, and someone like yourself are pursuing this!

I just did something similar, we had our wedding with 10 people in 2020 and finally had all our friends and family together in Turkey and it was incredible!
