The tone of this film was perfect: punchy, vibrant, relatable, and just the right touches of Korean family dynamics. Korean parents are notorious for humble bragging. Pressures and nudges to be traditionally successful. And the things left unsaid. And the uncle lounged on the couch at the end watching Young’s character’s monologue. Loved it.
