Totally agree this is wonderful
The past few years with Wong Fu , you can tell that Wes writes story that are a bit more "dark" or a melodrama/melancholy or something that can makes us feel so emotional . Phil on the other hand writes stories that have more comedy and spice to it . Ted ... we'll I'm still figuring him lol but all of them together are so damn amazing . #WongGu4Life !!!!
I HATE YOU Wong Fu... making a grown man tear up like this. Don't ever make a great video, that a lot of people relate to, that helps them deal with personal tragedy, and inspire them to move on. It's just not right!

I think he is a traveller. He wears a business suit and seems to be on top of things and he speaks with a confidence. I don't think he is lost and guiding the unfortunate souls, I think he possesses the power to travel by his free will and save others. Doing his job. Just felt like sharing my opinion after reading the comments. ^^
There is something strange in this short movie; something that moved something else inside me. can I say outstanding?!! I think spectacular. I will always remember this short movie and from now on it will be my favorite. There is really something in it that made me in way I cannot describe in words. Thank you, and I apologize if I do not make sense, but I had to say something.

I know this feeling as well. Whenever i fell like this i find myself watching this video and thinking about how many people must have felt like me, before they decided to move and and became happy. I think it makes oneself stronger to know that you're not the only one.
I love wongfu. They make me laugh and cry. We need more people to come out of their shells and pursue their passion like these these guys. Being able to inspire and connect through making connections like these. Its valuable being able to understand a message from these videos. Its like being able to watch a short movie or story about yourself, reminding you how you felt during those times or at the moment. Helps you move on and understand why we sometimes have to struggle and strive ahead to get closer to what we actually wanted. To remind us that there will always be a tomorrow as long as we're hopeful. If not, we'd be glad today was the day.
I am still watching this in 2019... This is truly a meaningful story... I can truly relate to this... A part of me is still stuck in the past...

This is so motivational, I've been feeling lost for quite sometime not knowing what will come and believing everything is impossible. Guess I have to experience it. Thank You
Gosh this is deep. Wow
I will say this after reading my previous comment and thinking it harsh: I do support the intent and idea behind this video. I understand that as we grow older, and as Wong Fu gets older, we can no longer separate and compartmentalize the harsher truths of reality-- I know I used to come to the Wong Fu video channel for laughs and enjoyment because your earlier videos were just that: creative videos made for entertainment and sometimes came with profound reflections about life and growing up. This video and some of the more recent ones deal with more serious topics, and I back that-- but please, take your time when making them. Be more selective with who you choose for the actors/actresses. Give the storyline time to gel and synthesize. If you guys are making a movie, then take your time with the shorts. I would appreciate more spaced out videos that are of higher quality than videos like this.

It feels too scripted and not like an actual conversation, but that also goes with the actors and everything. Sometimes beautiful writing on paper feels different in a short. Nonetheless, it was a unique abstract :)
@dreamycreamy93

Yeah, I agree, visually, it was fantastic, but I think it was the actress, she didn't have much emotion and felt a bit wooden. Actually, the last wong fu production disappointed me too, but that was the writing too, again, the visuals were spectacular. I don't know if it's because they are working on the film, but usually I love all the skits, but these last 2 haven't felt like the same standard imo.
Beautifully shot, amazing story and concept. Extremely well written, and Mr.Rydell was alright in this one, but I couldn't get behind the lead in this one; she just felt so wooden.

your videos can make me smile, laugh, and cry and think. Just an extremely talented group of artists!! Great work!!
I felt like I couldn't connect with the actors. At some points they seemed really stiff and then at other parts it was really beautifully done (when she was talking about the accident) The inconsistency of the acting kinda made me dislike it. BUT!! overall I think it is reeeealllly well written and moving. I loved the idea and story so much!! Thank you Wong Fu for another amazing short! I love your work and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next (:

I really liked the video... if you actually listen to every word and reflect on it, it is actually so inspirational. This short could quite literally save so many lives. Thanks Wong Fu. :)
Rewatching this again after going through a mental breakdown and finally telling my family about my depression, it just hits so much more harder than the first time I watched this...man now I'm crying because I feel the same way she did, lost and unable to leave the past and move forward. I want to move forward, but I am too scared to do so. I don't know what to do, but I do know that this short has helped me a lot. Thank you so much Wong Fu, I always seem to come back to you whenever I feel lost and need help, comfort or guidance, so thank you so much
A meaningful message sent by this film.

This is the kind of video that touches the hearts of few people who understand it's meaning through experience. Watching a video with your mind is one thing, but watching it with your heart is another door to a more meaningful experience. Thanks Wongfu! It was oddly relatable:)
