Until the day you realize you are a leftover, the second choice, the one who just isn't good enough. I definitely think guys have it rough too if they are halfway decent just watching my daughter's break ups. The decent guys take the high road after the emotions die down a bit. My friend showed me this video while I was going through my breakup last winter. It was difficult for me to watch, I cried so much at th first couple of seconds. I closed it right away because I knew the video was so close to the truth, it was hard for me to accept that this will be my reality. At the time, I wished so hard for us to get back together. We were together for almost 4 years, it couldn't have ended there...not when I needed him the most. At the time, I didn't want to live anymore because the person I needed the most, left me aside. I was going through personal problems which put a strain on our relationship. However, I kept telling myself that this is only temporary...the storm will eventually subside. I had to keep in mind that I am a fighter, a survivor, an independent woman. I watched this video today to see how much progress I've made. I cried again, not when it showed the first step but when it showed the last couple steps. Why? Because I did it. I made it through the hardest time of my life and I survived. There are absolutely no words to describe the pain I was going through all of 2015...I rly thought I wouldn't make it. Right now, I feel happy. I feel excited. Relieved. Renewed. I am not going to lie, there are times where I do miss my ex and wonder how he is doing. I have relapsed an immense amount of times, but that is ok. Everything you are going through is ok. I feel happy rebuilding myself. I am finally finding me again. I'm learning more about myself and realizing the fact that this quiet little girl has a strong bone in her body. The fact that I am still single doesn't bother me because I am enjoying the time that I have for myself. I wanted to share this because I was never a believer about things ever getting better, BUT THEY DO. PLEASE WAIT, GIVE TIME AND NEVER GIVE UP. You will see the end of the tunnel and a light will be shining for you to see that you made it out of the dark.

If you need guidance, pls ask & never apologize for anything, it is all part of the healing process. It hurts to see the person you loved and cared for turn and face the other direction. However, I always believe in things happening for a reason. Just remember, the people who are meant to be in your life are the ones who are willing to stay, regardless at how hard things get. Don't make time for someone who isn't willing to make time for you. I don't know your story nor your situation, but I do know that you are strong and you can fight through anything. Breakups are hard, but ask yourself, what have you learned from the relationship? What can you take away from it? Were you always happy? Can you be ok being alone? It really is a blessing in disguise because once you realize that you are truly okay, you can fully appreciate the amount of growth made. Believe in yourself, love yourself & most importantly, take care of yourself my friend.

It wasn't easy but I'm still here. Quite frankly, at least from this persepctive of Carley, it's almost the exact same (for me at least) with a few minor exceptions. I hope this helps.

It did take courage, I guess, but it was a stupid decision. I knew I loved him and let other people get in my head because they were people who I thought cared about me, but they just knew how to play with my mind. The good news is that he gave me a second chance and we're back together. :)

I always come back to this video when I need a boost--regardless of if I'm going through a breakup or not, the journey she goes through from being not ok to being ok gives me hope.

I lost him in september. Officially mid September. He moved on a day later to the girl who tried to break us up. I was broken for a month but now i am stronger than ever. I feel so free. I go out and hang with my friends. I go running every morning and I am smiling everyday. Today, I ended my first relationship ever, after 3 years of being tgt. I first watched this short when I was 13-14 and knew nothing about love and have returned to it throughout the years. I would read all the comments and wonder if I myself would ever be coming here in the midst of my own breakup. I didn’t even want to imagine how painful it could be. But today, it ended up happening. some times you just got to think with your mind, time heals all and keep telling yourself its not the end of the world

It's heartbreaking to know how someone so important to you decides to just walk out of your life one day. All the memories made. The secrets told, trust, a bond made, etc..then one day it's put to an end. I understand if someone isn't happy in a relationship it's better to leave, but what I don't understand is the opposite of that. How can someone tell you that they will be there for you, that you can always talk to them, how they will stay by your side right to your face and prove that all wrong? Just throw away everything they said. It's sad to know that, once there gone, there gone. And this video proves so much. Each step and feeling. That's what makes it a beautiful video to watch because you can connect to it and see what's basically happens.

When you hear that one person that you would do anything for has fallen out of love with you hurts the most .... 💔😞

I just lost my guy after 8 years of being together. And this video is sooooo true.. But it helps! Love it!

I just ended a three year and eight month relationship. It was my doing, but I'm having a hard time. We had the same friends, and he was my best friend. It's been almost two months, and I'm having a hard time not having any one left to talk to. His family is bashing me on social media, my former co-workers (which is where he works currently) won't speak to me, and almost all of our friends aren't my friends anymore - they're his. I told one of our best friends (we called ourselves the "tri-force" - like Legend of Zelda) to stay being his friend and help him through this, but I think I forgot to tell him I still need a friend as well. This video is kind of helping me keep going. It's helping me to stay positive. Thanks Wong Fu :)

Majority who came to see this video also had a bittersweet ending, it's been 5 months later after a 2 year relationship. It was tough when you love someone so much yet the timing was off. And peace of mind wasn't available. Sleepless nights, I took all the items out and returned it and also threw some out. And yes, guys do cry. I cried while driving. Like baby mode. As time goes by, you'll realize it's just one of those tough trials. Or that movie 500 days of summer. Where some people are meant to fall in love but not meant to be together. Keep that in mind. All I know she's with someone new already after a month. Fast and leaves a poor taste but not all people are the same. I, on the other hand seeing this girl and I'm at the courting stage. Date is set on the 23rd. Wish me luck. Be strong! Smile. Mr right is Right around the corner. I'm not looking for someone better. I'm looking for someone who's right with me. Take care.

+Yuuko I understand what you're feeling. I ended an almost 10 1/2 year relationship the beginning of the year. The first few months were rough, torture, and a nightmare. It does get better, even if you wake up one day and just go "whoa, i made it" Continue to stay positive with all that you got. And just keep watching Wong Fu as they always got their fans back :)

Angelo Mendiola I know it will get better one day. And I'm over him - I mean, you get over someone pretty quick when they don't defend you during the relationship or after the breakup. It's just hard changing routine, and realizing who were my friends and who weren't. I'm sorry about the breakup between you and your ex. Long relationships are wonderful, but devastating when they end. But I think all of us - even people reading this who may have been in a similar situation - will be just fine. Life goes on. And you're right Angelo, maybe Mr. Right is just around the corner. :)

+Yuuko Very true. I basically grew up with this guy and everything I am is because of it. From friends, to best friends, to thinking forever, to now just living my life. I'm lucky I'm still in my early 20's but I gotta say, dating in the adult world is scary. I'm really just doing me. Do the best you can for yourself and every day do one thing that makes you happy, even if it is as small as just eating a piece of chocolate :) Every experience, whether bad or good, take it in strides. They each are there for you to learn from.

I remember watching this video 6 years ago when going through a break up….. I promise guys! It gets better! You will find your person! Today I’m happily married and so very happy and thankful! You will get through it!

I remember when my girlfriend and I used to watch this same exact video a year ago. We have been going out for two years and we have broken up last week. I remember when we would always reassure each other about how we would never end up like this. It's just sad because something that I have never expected became a reality and it's terrifying. I just want to let anyone out there who is in a relationship still, never take your loved one for granted because you will never know when your special someone will be gone. Just like what happened to me.

I watched this in 2016 during a breakup from my first relationship. I remember feeling so devasted and broken. I can't believe I'm back watching this video again after five years, after another 3-year relationship has ended. I thought this relationship was going to be "it". I didn't think I'd ever feel this lonely, lost and heartbroken again. Sometimes, you move on from a relationship fully healed, meet a new person in your life who makes you believe in love again, only to go back to square one once that relationship ends as well. I may not be okay now, but this video is a gentle reminder that I once felt like I would never recover and move on, but I did. And the same will happen this time around. It hurts, but I know I'll be okay. Thank you Wong Fu, for giving me hope and making me feel like I'm not alone... no matter how many years pass.

It isn't stupidity and it isn't hating. If you can't take criticism then you never advance (although clearly WFP has taken NONE of the feedback to heart except for the positive ones). It's undeniable that this narrative is one of the weakest in recent releases; though that's not saying much considering the lackluster content in general. While the idea might be worth filming (here's a hint, it isn't), it certainly wasn't fleshed out well in reality.

turtlehater2 It may not be hating but what is to say that the criticism was constructive? And how are you to say that WFP "clearly has taken NONE of the feedback to heart"? They clearly read the comments and write stories that a great majority of the audience can relate to beyond multiple boundaries. Yes, this may not have your favorite narrative of their overall releases but it does not entitle you to claim how Wongfu responds in terms of feedback because I highly doubt you've filtered through the feed reading it all. pwangs,Wongfu, and the actors did a fantastic job and I took her voiceover to be the clear-headed part years later that is saying what she would have told herself then. I was touched and can only hope that someday I will fall in love as deeply as that.

I'm with you lol it's been 9 months on my end with no closure and no contact. Watching this video again doesn't have the same effect on me 9 months ago. Funny thing is I'm with someone now and it's been 2 months with this new special girl in my life.. Yesterday, I got s text from my ex. She asleep how I was doing and wanted to know my personal life. I could clearly tell she wasn't doing right just by she text. So she told me she's not with the guy anymore. Our relationship lasted almost 3 years. Then she found this guy she had in the past and got together after a month we split. Most painful thing ever. But I'm passed all that, and telling her that I'm with this girl is refreshing and I'm very much happy where my heart is at.

My ex? we broke up because he's still can't forget his past girl and clearly he doesn't think of me as his future. We were bestfriend. We started our relationship right after he broke up with his gf. I knew, he didn't like me. I always knew. Maybe I shouldn't confess to him and accept him to become from bff to bf. He was my happy pill, my world, my everything. I still remember that day when I called him and ask what's wrong, he just cried and said sorry that he's not a right guy for me, he keeps saying this relationship won't worked out. Because of his ex before me, he said he can't take the risk to be in a relationship again. I ask him why don't this time, just believe in me, believe in us. Let' starts everything all over again, just hold my hand and we take the risk together. i want to take care of him and make him happy. But he keep saying I'm deserve better. @@bluebee825 Thank you! I've gotten so much better. I became closer with a lot friends that I didn't have a chance to hang out with much just because I was with my ex all the time. They were the ones that took me outside and made me try out new things and helped me find what genuinely made me happy. I've never loved myself so much and I don't blame myself for everything anymore. Its so crazy how much time healed me but I couldn't ask for better people by my side :)

I'm recovering from a crushing breakup of my own right now, and I've never had such a strong emotional connection to an entire video before. Although this video made me cry violently and loudly, it also gave me hope for the future. Wong Fu, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reminding me that it will get better and eventually the huge weight of pain and fear will be lifted. This video gave me the push I needed to start moving toward phase 2.

I've cried over my ex almost every night or every night. At some point of time, I feel like 'whats the point of crying?' because i have cried for him for so long. It helps me to move on, and get over him but not 100%. Crying as often as possible actually helps. One day you will naturally like it is no point crying over that person. Go on, cry. But make sure NOBODY knows or checks you out

I think im in the circle of all the steps. I cried hard, miss him, feel a bit better, go out, have some smile, accidentally saw thing remind me of him.... Then think hard & let it go... Then try to rebuild a new me, try to love myself more... And after 4 months, the circle repeat. I end up crying...missing him..dont want to go out etc...

From time to time, I come back to watch older WF videos, and this is a favorite. It reminds of where I was 7 years ago (separation and divorce of almost a 20 year relationship), and where I am now (happily married to a wonderful woman who is turning into my best friend).

Going through this right now. Not a relationship, but a very special friendship. The thought of losing someone so close to you feels like a stab in your heart, the person you secretly fell in love with and that they won't know, the person that you went over the limit for, and the one who helped you discover the real you... will be all gone sooner or later. But I will be honest. I was the one that messed it up. Running away from problems won't help anything. I learned the hard way. But always use the past and learn from it.

I didn’t even want to get out of bed. 4 weeks ago she recently added me back on Snapchat after 4 months of not talking or anything . She even messaged me on Snapchat. Everything was going good until she told me she was dating someone else. That sent chills all through my body and I immediately started back to stage one. And I’m still here regretting messaging her. really well made video. I went through a divorce at 55 and break ups are hard at any age. I wish someone had told me some of my conflicted feelings were normal and you can still love someone but need to break up with them.
