Sometimes our greatest fear is imagining what we can truly become. The Jubilee Project produced this film with SASE because we believe in the power of relationships and mentorship. We hope that this story encourages you to seek out a mentor or mentee in your life.
The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) is a non-profit dedicated to helping prepare Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success in the global business world. SASE can help you find mentors, become a leader, and reach your full potential.

Finally no tears! Just warm fuzzies and relatability!
My mentor helped prep a lot prior to my interview and he helped me throughout my internship, giving me advice and what not! He was an awesome mentor and I'm glad to have him in my life!!!! OSU SASE!!!
NOOO SHOW GIRLS DAH POKEMON COLLECTION, THEY DIG THAT
I'm lucky to have an organization like SASE help mentor me to become a leader who isn't afraid to speak up or take risks. Thanks to Jubilee Project for this amazing video!
Wish I could find a friend like Richard

You gotta friend in me. ;)
Part of the reason I love this video so much is that it is so easy to see yourself as an Andy and as a Richard. I know I wouldn't be as involved or as passionate if it weren't for those that have mentored me. They've never directly said, "Go and help someone else now!" but you just can't help but doing so when others have helped you so much. It's great to have such an easy way to share and show people that every action counts, and that they too can be a "Richard". (ufsase)
Excuse while I cry tears of happiness of how amazing and heartfelt this short is. We all really need mentors in the world who can see us for all that we can be, especially when we can't it in ourselves.
This legitimately made me tear up when I first saw it at conference. This. This is SASE.
Brought tears to my eyes. My mentor was my dad. Thanks, Dad, for always believing in me and helping me find the best path! Also, David Pan (SASE Marketing Chair) has been a huge inspiration to me since I began interacting with him in 2009. His passion and professionalism are both things I strive to achieve in all aspects of my life. D Pan: I didn't have a SASE pin to give away at NC but if I did, you would've gotten it! Your videos are amazing and I love that you guys are uploading more often!
Love seeing you guys uploading videos more often! Keep it up!
I love this!! While watching it, I pictured myself along with my mentor and about 5 other people who guided me throughout my college years.
I was always involved in SASE, but never INVOLVED in it. That is until I met my mentor, Marilou Canon, who pulled me in and taught me what it meant to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Thank you Marilou, for helping shape me into the incredible, awesome, handsome, intelligent, humble being I am today! CSM SASE

This was so touching ;)
The SASE President and Vice President last year, Richard and Jyoti, were a great mentors towards me because they showed me the value of getting involved in SASE and have given me the opportunity to have a voice through my own SASE Chapter. CSM SASE
There are multiple mentors in my life that have helped me to grown through out my years of education and everyday life. They have shaped me in different perspectives in my years. I want to thank my mentors in NSBE at Clarkson who have encouraged me to get involve on campus and given me the opportunity to have ownership toward my contribution. Without their encouragement, I wouldn't be able to reinvent the SASE chapter at Clarkson with transferable skills I learned through my leadership in NSBE.
Amazing
One my closest friends Yingfu was a great mentor esp last year. We initially met because i reviewed his English papers but along the way a friendship started. Last year was one of the best years of my life. I had a bunch of new friends and a better understanding of the world.
I'm sure those who commented didn't even finish watching the video. lol. But anyway, I love all of your videos because they deliver such a relatable and sweet message.

Jason Min music! :D
SU REPRESENT! When I came to college, I was like Andy where I liked to help my friends with their homework and study for exams. After hearing stories about how NSBE is a great community where they love to help each other, I decided I wanted to provide the same environment to the Asian community so I founded the SASE Chapter @ SU. I would like to thank NSBE and SASE for finding my true passion; helping others! Check us out: syr.orgsync.com/org/sase and of course NSBE: syr.orgsync.com/org/nsbe
