A different perspective of "Love Locks", a universal romantic gesture in which a couple attaches a lock to a fence/bridge/lamp as a symbol of the their love. But shouldn't love be able to move and change along with you?

Omg it's Phil!
Am I in this film? I can't believe it! :) It's been a G-R-E-A-T experience with Philip and Wesley. My very first experience as a film actor, and it was not even with Italian film makers! It's incredible to be watched by millions of people, incredible. It almost scares me. But I have nothing to be scared by, because I've read so many lovely comments by you viewers: I feel so happy if I contributed to move your hearts and feelings :) Your appreciation means so much to me. So, thank you very much, Wong Fu fans around there, or casual viewers. Yours Lorenzo "Marco" (Polo!) Abagnale ;) P.S.: I'm pleased to know how many of you love how Italian language sounds!

I love that its in Italian. The message here transcends culture, geography, race, and language. Great script Phil!
Meanwhile I'm still rotting under the covers wondering if someday I'll be able to have such conversations
Every single time I watch stuff that Phil wrote, and constantly being in love with his perception on love. It's beautiful and realistic at the same time. "Love shouldn't be locked down to anything, it needs to have the freedom to change because you and I are gonna change. It needs to grow, adjust and evolve around us." Thank you Wong Fu, its such a beautiful short.

Yes. That's why I don't Wong Fu and drive.
Is it weird that the minute I read the title I immediately thought that, well, true love DOES lock you down. And then this ended in a proposal!
This has definitely topped my previously favorite short (Left On Shing Wong). Constantly seeing you guys on Snapchat and Instagram, and seeing parts of your every day lives, - how you go around just like normal people - I forget what true artists you guys are. Phil and Wes, we all thank you for another beautiful, moving, stunning short. You've heard a million times over how amazing and talented you are. If you think about how probably 99.9% of us sat at our computers crying while watching this, and countless other videos, you would know how incredible you, and all of Wong Fu, and all your work is. Thank you for continuously touching our hearts, our minds, and for making us cry and laugh. I will never say it enough, you guys are so wonderful, and truly deserve all the best.
As a straight guy, I swooned almost to the point of unconsciousness at the line, "But this bridge will turn to dust long before I stop loving you."
Seriously, I don't understand how they don't have more subscribers.
loved the scenic shots of Italy and Japan. there are love locks are all over the world, but i liked how the common concept is portrayed in this short. so deep and beautiful :')
Beautifully done and great pacing. Love this.

I couldn't help but think during the entire video how beautiful the Italian language is.
Romance is dead but at least Wong Fu lets me believe, if only for a little bit.
goes overseas to meet Tom Hanks, comes back with a short under their belt. Brilliant
Is it bad that when she woke up and said "Marco," I had the irresistible urge to reply "Polo"....
Dang...Wong Fu hitting me with all the feels. Always love all of Wes and Philip's work.
One of the best things about Wong Fu: you're never disappointed with the beautiful short films they make 💜 :)
I wonder if people can be so smooth in real life
@MarkLee1

By smooth you mean whiny?
You can easily tell by the first scenes and shots that Wes did the cinematography
I keep thinking that Wong Fu Productions has like 10 million subscribers because that is what they deserve.
I knew this was written by Phil when the wise declaration of love came
I love WongFu cuz they value Quality > Quantity, unlike alot of youtubers who have just milked content
These foreign films are amazing. It is beautiful to see different stories told in different languages. :) And this script was super sweet! :) Keep up the awesome work, Wong Fu! Thank you for sharing this with us. :)

But the way they do it is so clichéd. Not trying to discredit what they're doing, but I didn't really buy it.
Always get the feels when i watch Wong Fu. Amazing video
"But what about my lock on the island?" "It's there, and will always be there." Just like how those we loved and still love, will always remain in our hearts even after they've stepped out of our lives.
it's too early in the day to make me cry this much
I always try to guess whether it's Wes or Phil's short when I watch a new film from WongFu and this got me confused because the dialogues sounded Phil (Wes tend to write philosophical musings that have no end point but Phil likes to tell a message at the end of the film) but the cinematography reminded me of Wes, particularly the shots at 4:56 because of how he handled the lighting and shades, and it turned out it all makes sense in the end :D

Phil's writing always brings me to tears 😭 So freakin' cute!
i had high hopes for this short like i do for any wongfu short and my expectations were met once again :) i always love the meaningful and touching dialogues and the beautiful cinematography at the beginning i didn't feel the chemisty, like i saw them as two actors portraying a couple, through the dialogue i didn't really feel they were deeply connected or anything but 4:23-5:37 is where it became really convincing that those were two people who love and cherish each other, it was really beautifully made :) but as much as i loved the story and the meaning and the romantic gestures and words i kept thinking "that's great..... but so movie like and not anything like real life" because honestly i can't really picture a guy doing and saying those things... there are other shorts i can relate to better actually ^^ well but maybe my reality and the guys i know/have known are just a small, and limited view on life... maybe there are guys and couples like this and i just haven't had the luck to meet such people :(... i'd love to believe that someone like this exists because it would raise my hopes of actually finding my soulmate or someone who understands me and values the things that i do... and if not i guess i'll just have to marry phil's thoughts ........ T^T
I really liked this video. It is nice to see Wong fu branching out.
julia: marco? me: polo 😂 beautiful video! love the cinematography and dialogue.
I let this video play out while I was doing other things, expecting to hear the actors speak english, so when I heard them speaking in my own language I didn't realize it at first because I understood either way 😂 great video by the way!

Romantic and realistic in recognizing that everyone brings past experiences along. Watching the characters be generous with each other is where the amazing growth and love shines in this film. Lovely. Thank you. Be well!

I love that Wong Fu isn't afraid to reach out to other cultures & languages! Love is the universal language! Thus is a very beautiful story...thanks Phil & Wes for thinking outside the box! This what sets you apart from the rest! Well done!
I get the feeling that Wes's cinematography and sense of aesthetic would lend itself really well to urban fantasy, or romantic fantasy. Anyone with me?
Okay. I'm about to cry. This one goes to my Favorite list.
After a stressful day at work, definitely makes my night to finish off with a new WF short :) Definitely loved the different aspect about the locks. I never would have seen it that way had it not been for the short.
"It's never been a question to me if I loved you enough. But a question of if I could love you the right way." WONG FU, YOU GUYS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. This was wonderful!
Wong Fu does it again! The commentary on the complexity of love when she explains that their love is different, unique. His hesitation in not wanting to leave himself and his failures splayed across the globe, him saying I will love you long after these lampposts and bridges have turned to rust, the decision to write it in Italian- Love, love, love. Well done Phil and Wes.
Beautiful!!

I'm an asian living in Italy, and honestly i've always hated italian movies for their lack of originality, and awful acting to say the least but this...this was beautiful. Your work proves that a good production, and a well thought story can make people interested and even love something they've never paid attention to. I'm glad to see WF is "expanding their scope" 😍

To those that says wongfu is stuck with the same concept, i dont think so!!! They focus on what they are good at, and following them from day one til now, i think they were able to grow and flourish their work beautifully and shows their passion on each and every craft they do. Love this!!! Go wong fu!!! God bless!
Wong Fu always makes me cry with their shorts lol. Great job, never stop writing!
Nice video, Wong Fu team. It was refreshing to see some different faces acting, which must have meshed well with your visit in Rome for the Inferno movie. Interesting concept, but I still do not like the presence of "love locks" around the world. If I have enough time and enough spending money in the future, I want to visit as much of the beautiful cities of the world as possible. If I have the chance to walk across the Seine, I honestly would be a little upset if a bridge almost as old as the city streets degrades and is buckling under the weight of hundreds of locks. I am not in any romantic relationship, so it might seem like "I just don't understand." However, I would not want a sign of my love to be a pain in the bum for city cleaners and officials nor become a wall of rusted padlocks to mar a relatively nice city view.
When you're Italian but you still read the subtitles
Wongfu short films ALWAYS hit me in the feels!!!
Another spectacular Wong Fu Production. The people at Wong Fu always find a new way for me to connect to my feelings without ever having the same experience. This is something I will cherish forever. Thanks Phil and Wesley for everything that you do.
awww that's actually the cutest thing in the world. Relationship goals!
Honestly, I didn't feel the connection between these characters, I didn't feel that they were in love. maybe because I was too focused on trying to keep up with the subtitles. lol
