Gone But Never Forgotten

Спорт

10 years on from the death of club legend Johnny Haynes, we remember a man who still remains an integral part of Fulham Football Club.
Many thanks to the Premier League for use of the footage, which was initially published in 2008.

22 seconds in, my late father John Dale shakes Mr Al Fayed's hand. Thanks for showing me the way to Fulham dad. I remember how much you loved Johnny Haynes, too.

Great player and a lovely man and I was lucky to know him and to actually play with him it brings back happy memories as I started as a 15 year old with Fulham.

Chairman Mo had some weird ideas at times but he was a damned good chairman. Personally, I miss him badly.

Haynes wasn't "killed in a car crash", he suffered a brain haemorrhage while driving his car, as a consequence of which, it crashed.
