GONE And FORGOTTEN: The Best Player Not In The NBA! What Happened To Kemba Walker? Stunted Growth

Спорт

Young Kemba Walker was a problem. When it comes to point guards that handle the ball well, many bring up Kyrie Irving, but to me Kemba was not far behind and a lot more efficient with his moves, making them not as flashy as let’s say Kyrie Irving. But when it comes to point guards and the beauty they brought to ball handling, Kemba is top 5 in my opinion, along with Irving, Deron Williams, Baron Davis and Allen Iverson. When speaking of New York, he might just have the crown. More than handles, prime Kemba was a deadly shooter, usually in the high 30s from 3, with a career high of 39.9 in 2016-17, the year he became an all star for the first time. He was always in the tops in points in the paint and his mid range game was just as polished. A three level scorer, but what I liked most was he was a dog for sure. Killer instinct attribute bar all the way up and a badge to go with it. He wanted the challenge, and he got the best of you he let you know about it after. I always appreciated him as Michael Jordan’s first star player under his tutelage because he reminded me of Michael, just a 5’ whatever version. That was prime Kemba. Then everything change almost instantly. He currently doesn't have an NBA team, and it looks like the league has forgotten that he's gone. GONE And FORGOTTEN: The Best Player Not In The NBA! What Happened To Kemba Walker? Stunted Growth

As a long time UConn fan, Kemba will always have a place near and dear to my heart, and I hope a team sees the value he can bring and signs him. That said, with his superior knowledge of the game, his great attitude, and track record as an overcomer and winner, I have a feeling he would make an excellent coach one day should he decide to go in that direction.

Loved having him on the Celtics. After the drama with Kyrie the year before, the team, especially the young stars Tatum and Brown, really relished Kemba's attitude. The story went that he brought the whole Celtics team to his house in NYC for Thanksgiving his first year there and it created a great vibe for the rest of the season.

As a Knicks fan it was unfortunate watching how things ended up for Kemba in NY last season. Watching him it was clear that he wasn't the same player anymore plus he didn't fit what Thibs was trying to do defensively. Jalen has just fit a lot better for the team this season.

He's baaaaack, baby! I hope he's been getting them shots up because Kemba has a legit shot to shine in the roll J. Kidd has planned for him.

As a Celtics fan I was so against the signing. I was accused of being a hater and I remember having to explain to people over and over again that I actually really liked Kemba a lot, but just knew that knee was a ticking time bomb and getting rid of Horford, Morris, Rozier & Baynes to clear up the space to sign him was an objectively terrible decision.
